Description
Here is a small description of the piece: The piece opens with the depiction of a peaceful morning in a child's playroom. Everything seems calm, almost idyllic but something feels off. A subtle tension begins to creep in. There it is! A wicked LEGO brick, lurking in the shadows, waiting patiently to be stepped on. The initial peace begins to crumble, piece by piece. The tension rises... until finally, the LEGO brick is stepped on.

A lot of good thought and care went into this.  Reminds me of when i did 'corrosive space varmints' as the 3rd track of the Thai music jam last year for Lone Rabbit, things start happy then things go sideways! (in mood. the quality on this is great throughout!)

Solid planning is shown to pay off on this one.  It was excellent

This is how I wanted my introduction to sound. How did you decide where to put the bells?

Whimsical intro, lovely bell melody and wind counterpoint. Nice tension at 0:58, good choice holding out the dissonant chord. I like the little horn melody before the transition. Bombastic horns and timpani have a really nice impact. Really enjoyed this piece and felt it nailed the thematic prompt.
