Yay I ascended!

Man what a stylish and cool looking and sounding game. The bells and chanting and the colours. Really interesting and cool aesthetic. I really liked the combat as well, almost ryhthm gamey, and very satisfying.

What a cool game, nice work!

A very interesting visual and sound experience. Got to the end, really enjoyed the aforementioned things. Exploration was smooth and combat was rather enjoyable, loved the aesthetic and the tolling bells!

I've asended.

The presentation is good, the game looks and sounds good and coherent. It's pretty atmoshperic, the slight wobbling and how pixel visuals react with it as well as the music were part of it, that the enemies fit well inside the environment too. The bell sound and the epic ending were cool. The game overall controls well, the "Elite Beat Agents" combat is fun and the difficulty felt appropriate.

I wish movement was a bit faster and I faced a few instances of lag.

This is a cool and unique entry, thanks for sharing.

Yes, I have ascended.

Nice little mini game. Palette looks nice. Interesting game mechanics for "combat". Got lost once and couldn't find the last enemies. But after a few rounds around the level, I got the last ones.

Its fun with some different gameplay and mechanics, good on you!

Think Rotate is spelt wrong in the key bindings scene.

Good job!

Very nice and distinctive visual style. I'd suggest putting a few screenshots up on your itch page; I think they would get you some more attention/ratings, since the game looks visually interesting,

I enjoyed the combat, though I should mention I'm already familiar with Osu mechanics; I could see it being challenging to people who aren't, since it seems like it only takes one bad combat to kill you.

Overall a solid entry; I didn't (knowingly) hit any bugs, and once I understood the combat I was able to play straight through to completion. Nicely done!

I really enjoyed this one. Short and sweet! It needs a few Quality of Life features (when you die a restart button) but I really enjoyed it!

I definitely liked your visual style and sound design. At first I thought that camera shake was a bit too much, but in the end it was fine and added to the atmosphere.

I wish movement was more responsive, as I ended up missing several corners. Battle system probably feels way better with a mouse, but with just a touchpad it was a bit more uncomfortable. But at the same time it felt a bit too easy as well, completed it on a first run without problems.

The sounds were superb! (Did you make them or find them?) I liked how your god and the enemies were all abstract - it added some mystery, uniqueness, and otherworldliness. The atmosphere and graphics were also nice, and the combat was a really interesting mechanic.

Some things that could be improved: More than one texture for the walls to make areas feel more unique. Some kind of health system so you don't lose the first battle you mess up on. (Jam rules require "some basic stats".) Slightly less bobbing when standing still would be nice; I thought I was drunk at first.

That was actually quite stylish, nice gfx and sound. Maybe there could be a bit more texture variety, but the model work was quite nice. The battle system was interesting and challenging enough.

Controls were tight and I liked the combat system, while basic was a trek off the beaten path for something a little different. The music and bell matched the atmosphere/religious context of the game. The presentation of the enemies and god were a bit abstract, but perhaps that was intended (not a bad thing per se, just an observation)

The combat system is a nice mechanic. It's pretty easy to get lost in the maze, the map helps a lot. Searching for 10 enemies to kill feels a bit uninspired. Sound design and artwork are a bit simple.
