This is a really creative spin on the jam. I enjoyed my time with Billy, because he could only complain about me moving to much :D

Developer

Poor Billy, he's a bit of a troubled kid. Thank you for playing!

This is SUCH a clever and funny interpretation of the theme. 5 stars for me!  I think for a future version, maybe some more work on the animation of the ant character, like animate the head a little separate as its own sprite to add some jauntiness? And it would be fun to experiment with adding some cartoony expressions of the ant looking scared and surprised? Overall, really solid implementation of a great core idea.

Thank you for the kind words, and the great ideas! I definitely agree I could have added in some more solid animations for the ant in particular. Thanks for playing!

Genius application of the theme! Right in the Toy Story childhood!

loved the way you chose to show the tutorial first, before starting the main game. Really appreciated how you made different types of food, and placed them around the rocks.

An all around great game!

The way you used the spectacles in this game is awesome. It's a fun game and I like how the ant carries the food on its back. The art is great too. Some things that could be added in the future is the art for the ant's diagonal directions, maybe some fire when Billy gets you and maybe making some types of food take longer to pick up or slower to walk with but overall, this is really excellent and I can see this doing well this round

Very solid ideas, I can definitely add all of those in if I keep working on it. Thanks for playing!

I appreciate it, the music choice was very difficult actually haha, I wasn't confident this was the right choice. Glad to hear it was!

The music and visuals worked together so well!  And playing this really made me smile.  Your use of spectacle and minute with both very clear as well.
