Fun minigames, writing the rules in game would have been nice. The leave level mechanic should be more explicit.

Love the visuals ! You totally got the western movie ambiance. I'm a bit confused by some mechanics, the way ennemy die for example made me waste a lot of bullets (and they seems to be pretty rare). Overall it was fun to play, Congratulations !

In game tutorial is really a good idea and well made. Camera was a bit junky at some point and the saucer boss as too much life IMO. Nice entry ! Congratulations

Thanks for the feedbacks. Yes the goal of the game is not really clear, at some point you have waves of ennemies incoming and you have to upload more and more data (50 to end the game).

Thanks for the feedbacks. I indeed rushed that part of the game. I will add the main goal to the description (you have to reach 50 uploaded data to reach the end of the game)

Works really well. A bit hard to understand the orientation of my ship sometimes but i think it's part of the challenge. Like the overall juicy movement. Congrats !

I like the monsters visuals ! The final fight was fun (mayybe a bit too simple). Congrats for making it !

Simple concept but it was fun. Had to read the itch page to understand the arrows and other game concepts. A bit repetitive after some time. Congrats for making it !

The ending was really cool !

I had some little issue with the jump being a bit weird (like low gravity) and hitboxes i had a hard time to understand. The game was also a bit simple due to almost no penalty of death but for a gamejam version it's sometimes better to give the ability to finish the game (especially with the cool ending you made)

Love the rocker idea and the animation (especially the skeleton death animation !)

Music is really a nice feat.

Awesome idea ! The concept is simple to control but lot of possibility an excellent game design job.

The game got laggy for me when i entered the area with larger view and i think i got soft lock in this area (maybe i just didn't found how to get out without reaching size 3).

This game as some potential of being a cool little metroidvania.

Really impressive work on procedural generation, it's so hard to make something viable in short time.

The game is fun to play and level feel coherent (got some minor issue like sometimes take damage just after entering an area)

I would have made the game a bit harder (maybe less life). The collision with the very large player sprite are a bit hard to handle.

I had some trouble understanding the grapple (i ended up smashing the button most of the time to go up).

The pixel art is really cool ! I think there is a cool potentatial after tweaking the controls.

Really nice animations ! As other mentionned it's hard to know how many time you have been hitten (the ui is very smal in the corner and no clear feedback on hit).

The voice of the father is really cool. If you are going for Super i'm curious to see the progress.

Yes i made a playtest and i agree that wall jump is clunky, i was use to it when developing but for player it's not easy. 

The hitboxes issue was due to a bug, i found near the end of the jam, with godot collision using trimesh so i had to simplify collider quickly resulting in some area not being tight.

Really enjoyed the different enemy and the overall balance/challenge was on point.

At some point I felt that dying and getting back to the spawn point was faster so I may have abused that.

Overall I had fun and really liked the overall atmosphere.

Simple game but well made. I found the color scheme a bit confusing and platform being the same color as other elements is sometimes frustrating.

Love the main character and the plot (I was instantly as mad as him and wanted to find who broke everything). Visuals and overall atmosphere are nice !

Controls are a bit stiff imo and aiming with the hook is hard. Difficulty is really changing fast and i would have like some easy part where you just move around with the hook and enjoy the mechanic.

I would be very curious to see this game go further in Super.

Really original entry. Liked the visuals, especially effect when shooting on things works really well.

Being locked to the floor is a bit frustrating especially at the beginning The door could be a bit more visible (once your understand the pattern you find it easily tho). The overcharge mechanic with the gun gets a bit frustrating especially on the second boss (the one that give the shield). Maybe there is a bonus to reduce the cooldown i didn't found. The head movement should be reduced imo.

Had a really good time playing it. I like the athmosphere in the two levels.

I had a hard time killing the shield ennemy and on the second boss i basically smashed and then took a potion and repeat. Didn't find a strategy to hit him consistently without being hitten.

The visibility in the hell level when falling is a bit frustrating because lava is killing you instantly. Maybe having a map like metroid in the corner would help.

Thanks a lot for your feedback and the bug report. I had a nasty bug that indeed crashed the game on certain condition when killing a dog. Just uploaded a new version with a fix.

I agree on the 2.5D perspective issue. I tried several things but i think their is a reason if i didn't saw much of this type of game. I may continue to Super but doing a "demake" version going full 2D.

Nice idea. The pixel art is really cool. I like the silliness of some items that sweeten a bit the heavy message. Good job !

Nice jam experiment ! It feel like there is not much possibility right now but the concept could be extanded to a fun puzzle game i think. Good job ! 

Fun little shooter ! Aiming is really satisfying.
