Really good job on this one. I love the atmosphere, the music fits very well. The game was a bit hard to grasp at the beginning, like others already stated. Other than that a fun card game with lots of depth in the strategy. The meta reference to xanderwood is really funny, and the dialogue was nice. Great work!

Wow! This is amazing, the polish is soo good, great job! I had some problems with the player moving and picking up items, but these are just minor. Overall amazing work for 2 weeks, the enemies felt threatening, and the story was acutally pretty good. After I read the introduction to enemies, I felt uneasy and open for attack. The enemies also always felt like a threat. Did you implement a dynamic difficulty system? It felt like it, because sometimes the enemies tanked more bullets and sometimes less.
Overall great job, I love it!

Wow! This is great, I love it! The mouse control works great and is really intuitive. Sometimes I overshot, but you made the best out of the restriction. I love that every item is its own mechanic.
Great Job!

Thank you for recording your gameplay. This really helps, I definetly found some points of improvement, while watching your video. Also helpful to have a number on the playtime, just to know how long the game takes.
Thanks for the feedback, glad you enjoyed the game :D

I love the new background. The wooden table looks really good! I dont know what I did wrong, but I often times got stuck without a card. Just my character card on the table, but no Essence left to pull a new card, and also no card left to sacrifice to get more essence. Was still able to finishe the game, I just outlasted the enemy with my metal heart :D
Good Job, real level up from last round/playtest on discord.

Thank you very much! In fact I had some ideas about improving the controls the last couple of days, definetly something I want to do. In the end I'll probably support both keyboard+mouse and mouse only controls.
To improve the mouse controls, I could check which is the nearest empty tile to the place clicked, or maybe even use LBM for mining and moving. Definetly some things I need to tinker with.

Im glad your enjoying my game :) that could be a way to implement more gameplay, although I fear, that the charme of the game gets lost when I do too much with procedural generation. The map is already generated, and still needs a lot of work to get really good. Nonetheless thank you for the feedback and your idea <3

Great Job! This was such a fun little game. I think it would have been fun, if some of the props are destroyable. Like the pumpkin on Scarecrows head or the flower pot. I found it very hard to understand the voice in the cutscenes, but could be me, as english is my second language.
Im normally not a rail shooter player, but this was surprisingly fun. You did a good job.

Haha :D Yes, that combo is very strong.
Thank you for playing! I do agree, the portals could be easier to find.
I understand the problem with pathfinding, this is definetly a point I want to improve in the future.

This is a promising demo. I like the mechanics you implemented, like the interaction wheel with different actions the camera and point and click controls and the voice acting story. Sad you couldnt finish, but I bet this was good practice for you. Great Job!

To be fair, when I complained about my balancing in the discord, it was the old item prices. Since then I increased the prices by about 300-400% xD
Glad you enjoyed it <3

Very cute game, I love how each passenger has its own story. My only critique is the dog, you cant do him like that. I wish some items were implemented a bit more into the game.
Fun game, really enjoyed it :)

Thank you for taking the time and writing detailed feedback <3 Im happy that you like the new gameplay, I do agree that the items feel a bit random, even though I did my best to give them all a gameplay mechanic.
The movement feels a bit cluncky, I get you on that point. Definetly something I want to improve in the future.

At first I needed to spend some time in the  main menu just playing with the lamp :D I wish there was some progression, but I do apreciate the current implementation. The pixel art is great and the soundeffects are very fitting. I wish the book would make a sound when switching pages, getting it out and putting away, but thats just polish.
Great Job overall for the short timeframe!

Thank you for playing and rating my game :) I do agree that some items arent as well implemented as others, and they're also a bit unbalanced. Thank you for the ideas for further development. I really do plan to develop this game more and I also think that some variety in the mines is much needed. Finding some upgrades is a great idea.

Overall a really polished game. Great Job! The music is very fitting and gives a chill vibe. The tutorial was a bit overwhelming, but after playing just a short time I understood the game. I like that you get a modifier for the next month, unfortunetly this doesnt change the gameplay much, which then gets repetetive around half of the second month.
The items were all implemented, but I would have wished them to be more unique. I think some of these items could have been swapped with other images and still worked mostly fine.
Apart from that a cute litte entry to the jam. Very relaxing, good job!

Thank you very much.
I can reassure you, I definetly plan to develop it further. Thats also why I decided to continue my game in every round. I think there is much potential in this game loop, I just need to polish my stuff further up.

Thats a fun point and click adventure, good job! I got stuck at the magic wand with the  teleporters already set up, but will definetly return to this one later on.
All the small texts were really funny and I love all the little details :) The saving system was not something I got used to. I always forgot to save, but thats definetly on me. Overall a fun game!

Thank you for playing!
I undestand the frustration, thats just the classical problem, of a dev not seeing the problems anymore. I got used to the janky controls :) Definetly something I will improve in the future.
Thats interesting, I never encounterd that. Yes the save system had cost me some nerves :D

Wow, this is amazing. After seeing your game on the discord, I was excited to play this. Really good job, I definetly have to come back and play this one a little more :)
Only mouse controls are implemented perfectly. As others already stated, the scroll on the mouse whell would have been better, but thats just nitpicking. I love the asthetics. The items are implemented in a great way, which allows expanding after the jam, if someone whishes :)
I had some problem with the item descriptions not fitting on my screen in the shop, but I was able to "fix" those, by picking the item with my mouse, and moving it around until the item text pops up xD
Other than that, this is easy to learn hard to master and I love it. Again, great job!

No, you don’t have to worry. It didn’t ruin the fun, it was just a small problem I wanted to address to you.

Wow! Great Job, the sheer amount of characters is very impressive. I found the combat to be rather slow, but if i recall correctly, gain ground was also rather slow. Great Work!

That is a neat idea/spin on the task. The visuals were suprisingly fitting for the theme you set. I would have made the rain fall a bit faster, because right now, when i move straight down, im as fast as the rain falling, which looks a bit odd. Still a nice job overall :)

Nice job. My highscore was 40700. Not much gain ground, but fun nonetheless.

The ending felt really good, because most of the games in this round dont have a real ending tied to the stroy. I like it. At first I thought the glitch effect was, well, a glitch. But nice that it was actually story. Good Job!

This was suprisingly fun :) good job. At the end i found the best strategy was to drive in circles and plant the plants ontop of each other. This way i could havest soo many grain at once that the audio engine breaks :D

Overall is the art really cute. The combat felt satisfying and the hurt effect on the enemies too. I wish there was a cooldown on the weapon swing. Good Job overall :)

That a nice spin on the topic. Unfortunetly you didnt add any sounds :/ The game was fun to play, i wish there were more levels, it was also nice that you could loose the worms again :) Didnt expect one worm to get eaten by the mole, oops :D Good Job!

I had small problems with the controls, but other than that you recreated gain ground. Good Job :) The artstyle is interesting, wouldnt call it my favorite, but definetly unique :D Nice work

That is such a interesting turn on gain ground. Definetly a unique game in the jam. Good Job!

You did a great job with this game. The UI looks really clean, the abilities are great and the main mechanic with the last characters also playing is such a neat idea. The only small problem I had was searching the last enemy on the map. But anyways a nice game!

Yeah, I think I made the bees a bit too strong :O

The sound is amazing! I really love the vibe you created with the trumpet melody and each element being its own sound fitting into the music so well. Really good job!

This game is soo good. Im a big fan of the crunkle universe :) At first i found myself dying a couple of times until I got the hang of it (and, tbh, until i found the grenade character. That one carried me :D ) I like it, that i really have to save the characters, and not even picking them up and killing the last enemy counts.
The only nitpick i have, are the sprites of the rescuable characters. At first I had a bit of a struggle finding them, because I was so focused on the enemies. But thats really just a tiny thing. Real good job overall, love it!

Thank you for the feedback :) You were really close, there was only one more level at the end, that was even harder. I think the bees are a bit too strong. Also the later layouts are really rushed. Thats probably why your run ended with the enemies spawncamping you :/
Thank you for recording your gameplay. Thats really helpful <3

Great submission to the jam. THe music choice is good, the character variety is cute and i like it, how you dont kill enemies in this game. It stands out from the other submission. I also encountered the bugs, that are already mentioned here, but no biggie. It happens :)
Good job on your part, i hope well see again in Round 4 :P

Definetly the most accurate recreate i played so far. I love it, that you also included a 2 player mode. In fullscreen was the standard skybox visible, but to be honest thats just nitpicking. Really good job on this one!

Great game, i think some checkpoints would have been great. The character select screen was very cool. Some sound effects for hitting an enemy are missing. The artstyle is great, I like all the small animations and also the start cutscene :)

I really like the idea, its a good prototype. For me were the levels to linear, so i always only used one character. The Mage was fun to play, and i also liked, that all the characters had their own special. Good job.
