This is a great, great game. Probably my favorite for the round. Very spooky and a unique take on the genre. Top three, if you asked me. Beautiful job!

Seeing all of the controls at once and then doing the run made it a little harder for me to remember them. But after getting used to them, they did feel good. Having the text being a part of the world was also really cool, as well as the atmosphere. Had to play multiple times to get a better score.
I did find a bug where if you hit where two boards overlap, you aren't able to the the board underneath in that spot

Great Atmosphere. Personally I would have put the axe event at the end of the level, but thats just my preference. Overall a great variety of events and you definetly hit the horror mark :)

The atmosphere you created is phenomenal! I love the interpretation of the theme and the escape plan on the wall was super cool. Smashing the planks on the door was satisfying, although I think being slightly slower, more accurate and maybe a bigger hitbox like a line would make it easier for me. It was amazing to run through the corridor and jumping over everything looked and felt amazing. I can tell a lot went into making the game and I think it’s going to do really well. Also really great that you added a walkthrough video!

Wow, such a polished and fun game, with a really spooky vibe. I love the sound design and the attention to detail!

The interpretations of the original events are so creative and they fit the vibe very well. The first event felt kinda unfair, because sometimes I missed, even though the circle was on a plank. And the long jump at first was very hard for me, it took me like 10+ tries to beat it.

But then, after I got the hang of all the events, the game became incredibly addictive. The leaderboard made me play many more times, just to climb it even more. It's just so fun!

Overall, a very high-quality entry. I hope you will finally get to the well deserved top 3 that you should have already reached in previous rounds ;)

Really like the horror theming, cool interpretation. The first event chopping the boards was a bit tedious but otherwise really fun game.

I really loved this version of the game and the interpretations of the events into a horror escape game. I also liked the escape plan on the wall to help out. Great job!

Definitely a fun and totally different take on the source material! I’ll admit it feels a bit of a particularly loose interpretation, I get more “endless runner re-envisioned” vibes than track and field, but I appreciate the description going into how each event was imagined.

I need to come back and try again to get to the end. I just can’t tell what I’m doing wrong at the window. Without getting enough feedback to know what’s off (I hear the window breaking, so am I going too high? too low? too fast maybe?? Or am I running into something after?!), makes it a bit extra frustrating that I have to keep going through the 20-some seconds of all the other stops to just try and fail again 😬 I appreciate the little mid-game helper graphics, just in that one case it’s not quite enough for me at least!

Thank you for giving it a try :)

The building infront is a bit elevated, you'll need to do a jump, hold space to adjust the angle (closer to 45 degrees will give you better chances)

The atmosphere is really great and the game as a whole feels really polished. The first part could be a little more generous but it's not really that important. I almost feel like you move too fast while preparing to jump, but that might just be me. For the long jump it's a little hard to see the actual area you're jumping over so it's hard to time it right and it felt a little unfair when I died there. Those are just nitpicks though, and overall a really great experience.

Of course when I have time I'll come back and try to hack the leaderboard XD
