This is a awesome entry! My brain didnt quite catch up once hurdles transformed to flappy bird, but it was still really cool :) Great entry, and the duck is really cute. Unfortunelty the leaderboard didnt load for me and I couldnt see my own score, but I see in the comments thats its a me problem, so I wont deduct any points for it. I cant imagine that you wont get to the next round, already excited to see your next entry :D
I really liked the way that you incorporated the duck theme into the events, and the unique spin they all had.
Did not expect the flappy bird section lol, very fun and well made :)
Excellent job! You took the original concept, put a good twist on it, and had a BUNCH of polish. For sure one of the top entries this round!
This is a really solid entry! Top 3 in my opinion. It's cute and simple, but the "twist" you add in the events (like multiple jumps, flappy bird style gameplay, steering) were just so unexpected and neat.
I really liked that you added "flappy bird" mechanics, even though the hurdles already had enough of content. But small additions like this one make the game so addictive.
Every round has a unique feature that makes it challenging and rewarding: hurdles - flappy bird mechanics, hammer - very narrow window to let go and bushes on the way that you need to avoid, long jump - a stone that I didn't manage to avoid, but if you fly close enough to it you can get like 4.6 or something, high jump - the initial positioning is very important because if you manage to stay in the center and jump straight up, you can get like 6.2.
Overall this game is an amazing experience, extremely addictive, every level is thought through and very polished.
Quack!
This game is amazing! I loved all four mini-games and I like how the speed builds up on the hurdles event and the duck takes off flappy bird style, that was a nice surprise. The high and long jump timing mechanics felt great and although the hammer throw was challenging, it offered enough retries to master it. The leaderboard is a great addition and I’m pleased that I just about squeezed on to it :)
We should not allow ducks in the real olympics, being able to fly seems a bit unfair
Amazing game, very creative!
THIS WAS SO FUN :))))) the flappy bird suprise on the dash event was SO COOL
Wow really well done, well polished, and tbh brilliant idea to basically force us to do an entire “run” all together. You also had really nicely implemented tutorials, not just slapped into an intro panel like some devs (*coughs at self). And I definitely lost some points when hurdles turned into flappy bird cuz I just started laughing ha, in fact all of these had very fun clever twists on the baseline events.
You also get a bonus star from me because “foul” counts as a pun. Though you could have written “fowl” too ;)
Very minor nit that on my 2x density monitor, the corners get slightly clipped (I assume anyhow) both in static and full screen, not so much that it gets in the way. it’s honestly the only thing to comment on as the rest is totally set!
I really like how the order of the games is random which adds a nice aspect of variety. My one issue is how unclear the foul is, just in that most of the time when I foul I just get to retry but sometimes it just gives me a score of 0 and I move on.
I really like how you turn the simple games into something with a bit more variety, like how instead of just throwing the hammer you have to avoid obstacles after throwing it. However that was sadly my least favorite part as it felt very luck based - you can get a great release but then are moving too fast to really be able to avoid bushes in time.
Overall, super polished and very well done.
Really great set of games with a lot of variety. The duck flying powers felt a little like cheating but it fit really well and it was really fun.
Duck is always a good idea :D I like the style and the game feels very intuitive. I couldn't stop until I beat the leaderboard :D I hope I'll remain on top there :D :D :D
Thanks a lot! Well, looks like you got dethroned on the leaderboard. Meanwhile, I managed to get to the top of your game's board. And I don't think anyone is beating my time!
Just got my crown back! :D :D :D
