I love that it's sort of an homage to the Mars rover - and named after it's last message.
The artwork is great, and fits so well, imagine 'Possibility' at the end finds an amazing fire in a cave !
Very enjoyable game.

I found an ocean and a fire in an alien cave. I like the use of magazine cover to tell a story- as opposed to plain text on screen.

Lovely visuals and audio. Always nice to see games inspired by real life events/phenomena (the rover)

As someone who knows nothing about  paintings its very impressive to see real world paitings ported to a game, my favorite was definetely the ocean one(I found 4 without couinting the main one) once the cutscene ended I was still hearing the sound of the waves(as if I lost the video from the hover but kept the sound) together with the music was very emotive, congratultions.

I love the hand painted textures! Always a treat to see traditional painting in a game, it really supported the mood! I never heard of the rover "Opportunity" until now, and finding out what its last message was also being the name of the game made me feel bad for it even if it's a machine lol. Great little experience!

Nice little interactive painting showcase! The base homage to the rover friend and a cool way to introduce story to the game! Well done, nice paintings! (Really dig the harsh canvas texture, one of my favorites)

Thank you and thanks for playing on your stream! I'm going to work on fixing the bug that causes the game to start with 0 battery; it seems to be caused by clicking the mouse too rapidly but I'm not sure why yet. Thanks for refreshing and giving it another chance after that happened :)

I do like those robots. Got a couple of different endings. I like the way the paintings were used, it made the mood feel very unique.

I very much like the idea behind this game, and the fact that you included some story from which the idea came. Very interesting, I'm glad I learned something today!

Thank you very much for your kind words, glad you enjoyed it!

Such a testament to this project, that I was not too familiar with this story beforehand, yet you really made me feel for it through the presentation! Genuinely quite a moving experience

That's very kind, thanks so much!

This is a truly inspired story. You've blended reality and gaming in a touching way. This was a light hearted tribute to a well deserved little robot.

I would love to see more games with real paintings used as assets. One note on that for the future if you are photographing your paintings you want consistent light on the painting, sunlight is normally the best. It wasn't distracting or anything, but I noticed some glare on the right of the starting location. I think with a piece like this the lighting could really change the mood and feel of it. I like that it was bright, but I would be curious how it would feel if you photographed your paintings in a much darker space.

Thank you for your lovely feedback! I totally agree about the lighting, I noticed some annoying glare on the fire cave painting in particular; in future I'm planning to scan any hand painted assets to get a consistent light level that I can play around with more digitally.

I had no idea Opportunity found all of this on Mars.  I think maybe it's still up there having a good time. :D

I really like the painting-style art.  Music is also good.  Fun entry!
