The kind of game you know how to play instantly but is completely engaging anyways. Loved the music too. Only thing I might suggest is ever-so-slightly lowering the movement penalty for scaling up, it can kind of easily spiral into a negative feedback loop before you can make it to those juicy health pickups. Great entry, you found some true fun within the 30 day time limit.

I love this!
Died a few times early on but I'm familiar with bullet hell games and won stage 5 after a few minutes.
Gameplay is superb. The music fits too. Compared with other games in this jam, this is very well polished. I really can't find much to fault. If anything, I wonder if you could introduce more variety in the enemies because there are only two types, add more levels (maybe 30 levels), ramp up the difficulty slower and don't end the game instantly when someone gets caught but maybe reset them to the start of that level (or make them play 5 levels then give them a checkpoint?).
These are just ideas though and the game is great as-is, absolutely solid.
Me gustó la estética neon. La interpretación del tema está muy bien escogida. El gameplay se siente bien, muy bueno 👌🏼
The interpretation of the theme goes very well with this kind of bullethell game. The gameplay itself reminded me of the combat in Undertale.
Congrats! It managed to hook me for some minutes.
Nice implementation of the theme that is simple but effective. I really enjoyed the overall aesthetic of your game and had lots of fun playing it, excellent work!
This was a pretty polished bullet hell game! Thought that the difficulty curve was pretty good, introducing you to new enemy types gradually and then combining them in interesting ways - also liked that the health pickups weren't just randomly dispersed throughout the field but started showing up as you increased in size. The player movement struck a pretty good balance between floatiness and snappiness that I feel is critical to this type of game.
Not a whole lot to comment on otherwise - sometimes the health pickups came on a bit rapidly, so it felt like I could incur damage freely at some spots. It seems like there might be a buffer between when you're allowed to get hit again, maybe that could be shortened a bit? Well done on the game!
Solid gameplay, good difficulty level, and fitting music. Really great job! Also new enemies and power ups came at the right time such that the game did not become stale. I will also give you some feedback, even though you did very well. The feedback concerns that the feeling I liked the most is when I perfectly dodged enemies and felt in control, however many times I was not focusing on dodging but rather on getting health back and just letting myself get hit. As I said the difficulty was balanced so it did not frustrate me, but the satisfaction might have been higher if the dodging difficulty was slightly lower, but punished more. I hope I dont sound too critical, because I thought you did great!
Hello! I played your game on stream today and thought you might appreciate to see someone play your game live! https://www.twitch.tv/videos/1995856524?t=0h16m47s
You can get all my comments in the video! Keep up the good work!
Wow. I'm honored and surprised by your stream! I cannot believe that my very first game was played on a stream. My little indie developer dream is starting haha.
I appreciate a lot your feedback, it's really valuable and positive! With this game jam, I'm feeling encouraged to seriously develop and produce this game up to a commercial release.
Again, thank you so much!
The music choice fitted really well and I like the glowy effect! The difficulty was good too.
I was surprised that it had more mechanics than I expected and game balance was pretty good. The ending effect was very good at the start but later it kinda gets sluggish maybe a bug?
Coloring some enemies green was weird but other than that I can easily see and background was in the background as it should.
One of the best games I've played in the jam.
I was wondering what the connection was to the theme until I got hit. Very clever. Graphics are simple, but so is the minimalistic game mechanics, so it works. The bloom I think works well to give it an additional polished look.
Fun game and the effects work well. Gets quite hectic in some spots but love the feel. Nice job!
nice game , i really enjoy this game but maybe its to hard i guess at level 1 because to much obstacle maybe some balancing that be good , overall nice job :D
I entered the flow state in the 2 level 5th round. I was dodging everything. I was in it. But then I got hit once and lost it all :( I was so close to finishing too. But that was as far as I got.
I really enjoyed the game design. The purple saw things were a really cool addition, felt cool rallying them all up. Hard game but still felt fair. Fun submission :)
