Damn I didn't realise the queen piece could be so intimidating. Though I don't get why it's also unbeatable. This is a really good game by the way.

We tried to deviate on some chess rules. Some pieces move with you, some later. All to give more variability to the game, sacrificing a few conventions. It shall remind of chess, but not be the same.

We used a modular design. I personally focused a lot on programming interaction, so that once we had a few characters and block, it was kinda easy to build levels!
That was fun, the art style reminded me of Don't Starve, was that intentional?
Still, I'm not a fan of chess but this feels completely different from chess, especially when the platforms started shifting around.
mmh, about the art style, it wasn't intentional I guess. Maybe it's the 2d mixed with 3d that is giving this feeling. I should ask the artist and then reply to you ahahaha. You are not the first one pointing this out! In the future we might consider going more on that style!

Great game! The artstyle is unique and super cool. I like the concept of this game , the mix of chess and puzzles have well done. It was fun to play , it would be great to see a complete version of this game.

Very interesting idea! Definetely potential for a full game here! The artwork was unique, polished and fit perfectly the game! The level design was really smart, teaching us how to play tour game very smartly! Great job to you!
