I quite like this! This is a fun take on the COD Zombies/wave survival genre and I hope you continue to run with the theme. A suggestion - perhaps your fists could be used for a backup weapon where you waggle the mouse to do a slight bit of damage when you are in a pinch?

I really like the movement as well, very different to what I'm used to and it's quite cool!

A couple things to maybe improve:

AI (you mentioned it in the description but the AI got stuck in a conga line and couldn't move)

Weapon balancing (I think the shotguns are a bit overpowered considering they spawn frequently, shoot pretty accurately, shoot 3 pellets, and also can chain kill).

I hope you continue to develop this idea!

Congratulations for the game! Keep making games, each game jam we get more xp and level up as developers. Rated <3

If you are interested in Tower Defense, check out our game. A tower defense where you can control only one tower at a time.

The idea is cool and maybe has potential, but this version of it felt kind of mindless. Some actual level design rather than just an endless high score thing could have really made it more a interesting challenge.

Movement felt slow for this kind of game, although it was kind of atmospheric, especially when you get stuck in a corner with no ammo.

More weapon/enemy types to make it more varied would be cool.

Very well done. I love how the many corpses and used up guns stay around and pile up all over the floor :)

This one could be really great when you speed everything up, both the player and the zombies! I like the used weapons on the ground.

Thanks, I borrowed the idea from Hotline Miami, and I thought it conveyed a kinda chaotic atmosphere once the games been running for a while

Nice job, an interesting idea that I could see myself playing for a while. However, movement felt way too slow for me and would have liked a more open space with obstacles within than the level design you have.

Thanks so much for the comments. I totally understand what you're saying about the level design - honestly, it was just crammed in at the end of the jam - though I'm curious to hear more about your opinion on movement speed. Would you have wanted the character to move faster in comparision to the zombies, or have everything move quicker?

I think both! The ratio felt good to me, but everything just felt too slow.
