That was fun! The drift-charge mechanic is a nice twist on an uncommon trope. The music is chill and ethereal. The art is striking and saturated.
The audio is a tad loud. Peaks often approached, and sometimes exceeded, 0.0 dB.
Good work! Congratulations on the submission!

It was a really nice game! It's been a while I don't drift for points and that one was lit. Soundtrack resembled Celeste, really lovely!
That was amazing! The vibe, music and graphics are perfect and make up a great overall feeling! I really like how you managed to create a smooth and juicy gameplay while maintaining pixel-perfect resolution and GameBoy soul. Good job!
Very polished and clean gameplay, the music is very good, but what I liked the most was the random ship upgrades between stages, I would have loved to see an "infinite" gamemode for this one just too see the limits of the ship upgrades :>
I'M INSTANTLY HOOKED! This game made me feel something I've not felt, ever.
(I also span around in circles half the time. π)
Visually very cool, and audio was very fitting and gave a nice zen/chill feel to the game. The boss seemed very difficult at first, but the hitboxes are very forgiving so it turned out alright. The colors and vfx on the ship are a really nice touch. I ended up just upgrading bullets/energy the whole time as I killed myself with the dash more than I helped myself XD. Cool game with a surprising amount of polish in such a small package.
Really liked this one, but I have some problems:
You both did a nice little game with a cool perk mechanic and interesting controls, but the amount of times you sometimes have to wait to shoot, other times not beeing able to hit things consistenly and getting to a moment where using the dodge/dash is almost not useful because it's much worth it to save the energy to shoot... Can be a bit frustating
Music was really neat as well, I recogniced some of the samples used jajaja. In conclusion and knowing the little time you both had to make this, you both did a killer job!! Be really proud B)
Really great game. Unfortunately I don't really remember my highest score but I got quite a few upgrades
The main mechanic took a little getting used to, but ultimately I love it
The presentation overall is frickin fantastic. Both visuals and audio are amazing oof
I honestly think the upgrade for driving should be the default handling though. It was also annoying to have enemies spawn off-screen right next to you.
I also kinda wish the explosion radius of the bomber enemy was indicated before it exploded or something. I'm still not sure how big it actually is.
That said, the indicator for when you've charged a bullet ( red flames ) was definitely cool and didn't interrupt gameplay either.
Overall I think this is a really cool entry. Great job on this
pretty good, i really liked the graphics and the music, but i think the controls weren't that responsive.
outside from that, great game.
