A really neat take on the popular "1 Bullet" idea. I really enjoy slinging myself around the rooms. With there was more content. The jump just feels a bit floaty, but really isn't that bad. Great idea

I love the idea. Level design is simple but shown these mechanics pretty well. Nonetheless, I don't like two things.

  1. Jump. It feels unenjoyable and very clunky; it needs a lot of adjustments.
  2. And a lack of good UX with a distance of the shot. It's tough to asses how far is your target, and it is enough to shoot or not.

Additionally, it would be better if a player can see how the arrow goes back to him instead of teleportation.

It's great! It's like Portal with hookshots. I do love myself a good hookshot.

Some great level design, and it's packed with content for a game jam game. Very fun, and great execution.

You should specify what your idea was, so we know what part was supposed to fit the theme. In the meantime I'll guess the theme was Only a shot per jump, which is a weird way to fit the theme.

Original idea (as you said, apart from us), and a good one at that.

Yeah, the orignal idea was a sort of puzzle-dungeon like Zelda but what if your only weapon, a bow, only had one arrow.
So, then I thought instead of picking up the arrow every time, what if you had a rope/chain attach to it to pull it back out of enemies.
And then I thought, what if you used that idea/mechanic as a utility item and to solve puzzles/hit switches, move around the room, etc

And then it became this, a platformer:)
Mainly because I didn't have the time to model and program enemies. xD

I admit, I strayed  a bit from my original theme idea but I still had a blast making it.

Haven't seen (at least not that I can remember of) the movement with a "shootable" rope in 3d games before, so that was quite interesting!

Oh, I love the concept!

It's a very nice game, I like the idea and the style of it! I think it's a well made game, and it certainly is a very interesting concept

It was a fun game. A simple concept, but well executed.
