Yo this is awesome! All the weapons feel great to use while still being unique, the enemies while limited in variety give a good challenge, the color palate is good, its very easy to pick up and play, the music is a banger, this definitely one of my favorites in this game jam great job, looking forward for more of this game in the future!
Awesome game, I love how it shows your accuracy when you die. Also the controls feel great. This would make a perfect multiplayer game.

This game is super satisfying to play. The randomized weapons are all fun to use and force you to switch up your play style a little bit, like when you get a gun that's weaker or has short range, and the flintlock and especially the minigun are so satisfying to get your hands on. I made it to wave 20 with I think 206 kills. I did notice that some of the waves even as late as wave 19 would sometimes have only 3 or 4 enemies spawn. Were those breather rounds or was that just the randomizer hitting a low number? I took a lot of damage from enemies spawning right on top of me or right behind me, and I also noticed that the damage numbers appear to be rendering backwards. These are minor things though, and altogether I loved the game, loved the art, loved the idea. Really solid work.
Thank you for your feedback, I really appreciate it. On the topic of the bugs, yes those are bugs, and I knew they were there. Those bugs occurred at like 4 in the morning and I was too tired to fix them, so I sadly had to leave them in the game. The wave counting system I made did not have a difficulty curve (because of time restraints), so enemies were randomly chosen from as low as three to as high as 26. The good news is that I am working on a full version of the game, so if you liked it, make sure to come back to my itch page in a couple weeks :)
This looks so cool, the little details like bullet holes or the camera tilt are so good. Really enjoyed it
I LOVE the art, mixing 2D and 3D art is always my favorite! The cool blue of the guns and monsters make shooting so satisfying! Great job!
I really enjoyed the simple but well-matched style of the game, the movement and different weapons were fun to use as well! :>
In terms of feedback, my suggestion would be to focus less on difficulty modes in future concepts, but more variety in map assets and enemies to enhance the game experience in that direction ^^
I liked the doom-style graphics and the controls felt really polished. It would be nice to see effects, like making the screen slightly red, when hurt, because you don't really realise, if you got hurt or not.
