Loved your reply, very thoughful and appreciated! We’ll definitely address the nitpicks once the jam is over, but I’m super glad to hear you enjoyed it. Thanks for sharing your thoughts!

It’s 2D but we do procedural animation! Everything is renderer either with the draw_line() function or the draw_circle() one in Godot.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e6Gjhr1IP6w Here is a video on the basic principles of a Spider procedural animation, ours is 2D but that only made it easier lol
Had a good time, it ended up being too easy and it didn’t give me a lot of red cards so I wasn’t able to raise my score that much. Got to like 1300 and lost those points on a couple of hard levels lol. Would have loved more control, and the lose on card slot should definitely give you far more points imo given it doesn’t let you get potentially more from future red cards in that slot. It was still a good time, enjoyed it a lot.
Edit: If you like games like this one, there’s an excellent demo for the new sokpop game Brain School on Steam right now that you may enjoy! It shares a lot of the DNA of this game
Definitely needs some work but it was fun after I understood how it was played. The weird thing is that kind of the opposite of getting over it. Instead of using the object as a hammer to get to places you need to use it like a magnet because it sticks and lets you move while sticked to it. Would have liked it a lot more if the player didn’t teleport constantly making the behaviour of the item a little weird, but it was still a fun time lol
Very fun! Loved how it felt to play, never had an issue even though the art was 2D and the combat technically 3D. I liked the art style a lot. Only problem I had was with the enemies having perfect knowledge, after a while the game got to a point where it was just waiting for them to realize something spawned, follow them and take it from them lol. I think it would be a lot more interesting if the enemies where, like me, searching the spawn spots to check if bento spawn even if it didn’t, and where to engage more into combat upon seeing someone else having Bento. But that kind of stuff is pretty hard to do for a game jam and this is super polished still! Had a great time with it
Loved the art style and the idea, it’s so simple and yet so good. It got a little heated towards the latest rounds for a cozy game as I wasn’t being able to find the perfect timing and got a little tryhardy, lol. Really enjoyed it, incredibly creative for the theme for how simple it is. Edit: Also, while I didn’t toggle it, I really appreciated the option to turn off munching sounds. Gave the game one extra star in audio for it
I can’t publish an image of the win screen because I was spamming click to kill the last bat and the game went to the win screen and I immediately clicked to go back to menu on accident ): But really enjoyed the swinging in this one. Incredibly well made hook mechanic. Also the art is incredible if it was really all done by you and during the jam duration. The level design was really well done with the looping and multiple pathways, combined with the swing mechanic it was definitely what made me want to finish it. I would have liked it a lot more if it explored mainly the movement, honestly the combat is the only thing that didn’t click for me and having it tied to the win condition was the only thing that felt a bit like a drag. It was super fun still to fin the bats through the level though, that was what kept me going. Good job!
There is a second ending, which is hidden and mostly a joke.
In case you finished the game and want to find it (Possible spoilers): It’s related to a tree with colored eyes near the small island with fences southeast of the center of the map. You can, if you look closely, spot the tree from the second floor of the cabin nearby that small island.
Sorry, just checked and it's bugged out, which is really sad to us considering we spent the last couple of days implementing it and the only reason it's not in is one checkbox wasn't ticked on the last build, lol.
This game was made for a Game Jam so I'll ask if we can submit an updated build but we'll probably have to wait until it's over to reimplement it.
We'll temporarily remove that line of text from the features. Thanks a lot for letting us know of this so fast
Oh and [SPOILERS] to get the second ending, if it were working as it should have lol, you would need to reject Mr. Meat requests and don't look at the meat while cutting it. Do it enough times (5 times minimum out of 7) and when prompted to grab the knife in Day 3 you'll have the option to instead use it on Mr. Meat. We'll let people know once we are able to get it back up and running.

One of my favourite games here is Bases Loaded by kindanice, so I loved learning this exists. It's similar but with a bigger map and the idea heavily expanded, I enjoyed it :)
Wishing you good luck on the Steam Release!
