Loved your reply, very thoughful and appreciated! We’ll definitely address the nitpicks once the jam is over, but I’m super glad to hear you enjoyed it. Thanks for sharing your thoughts!

{BFA5ED64-9724-4504-BAFB-D1FB7F934903}.png It’s 2D but we do procedural animation! Everything is renderer either with the draw_line() function or the draw_circle() one in Godot. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e6Gjhr1IP6w Here is a video on the basic principles of a Spider procedural animation, ours is 2D but that only made it easier lol

Loved the graphics and the gameplay for a while, everything was super charming and cute!

Loved the graphics. Really interesting aesthetic with the shaders and the weird enemies. It was a fun time

The brake was so polished, I loved it. It’s a game full of those small things that add up into something super nice. Thanks for making this, it’s my favorite of the jam so far

Honestly super creative with how simple it is. It surprised me a lot that the game felt pretty strategic after a few rounds, at the start it seemed like it would mostly be random. Congrats on the small thingy. I won, take that, bot! :)

Five stars on visuals instantly. This is incredible. Did you really draw all those angles for the main character? I can’t believe how good everything looks and how much style is infused in everything. I really liked this. Also loved the ghosts doing chores

image.png Had a good time, it ended up being too easy and it didn’t give me a lot of red cards so I wasn’t able to raise my score that much. Got to like 1300 and lost those points on a couple of hard levels lol. Would have loved more control, and the lose on card slot should definitely give you far more points imo given it doesn’t let you get potentially more from future red cards in that slot. It was still a good time, enjoyed it a lot. Edit: If you like games like this one, there’s an excellent demo for the new sokpop game Brain School on Steam right now that you may enjoy! It shares a lot of the DNA of this game

Definitely needs some work but it was fun after I understood how it was played. The weird thing is that kind of the opposite of getting over it. Instead of using the object as a hammer to get to places you need to use it like a magnet because it sticks and lets you move while sticked to it. Would have liked it a lot more if the player didn’t teleport constantly making the behaviour of the item a little weird, but it was still a fun time lol

Very fun! Loved how it felt to play, never had an issue even though the art was 2D and the combat technically 3D. I liked the art style a lot. Only problem I had was with the enemies having perfect knowledge, after a while the game got to a point where it was just waiting for them to realize something spawned, follow them and take it from them lol. I think it would be a lot more interesting if the enemies where, like me, searching the spawn spots to check if bento spawn even if it didn’t, and where to engage more into combat upon seeing someone else having Bento. But that kind of stuff is pretty hard to do for a game jam and this is super polished still! Had a great time with it

Please I’m dying this is so so cute. I was gonna say this is super polished for being a jam game but that doesn’t even matters compared to how cute it is. It almost brought me to tears. Very cute music and story!

Can’t believe this game has cinematics, and honestly the ending surprised me a lot. Loved the music changing with the state I was in and the rolling attack was super satisfying and a nice way to tie the last moments of the game. Very cool! image.png

Ok I love this it’s exactly how I coded the spiral but I had no idea about the concept lol. Again thank you for playing our game!

Super glad you enjoyed it! Give me a second gonna google archimedean spiral

Thanks a lot! We’re planning to optimize it a fair bit but probably won’t be able to do so until this jam’s rating period ends. Would you mind sharing your laptop specs with us so we can get an idea of what to test with / for?

Honestly was pretty fun, I got addicted for a little while lol

Super funny to have the game transform into a platformer. The jumps were a little too tight for me but I really enjoyed it! Also, thanks for the motivational message lol

Got the perfect run my second time around (: Very good level design for a jam game. Everything was super enjoyable and pretty good on difficulty. Although you should really put floating ground below the floating jars. I’m pretty certain they’re not supposed to fly

it scared me more than I would like to admit lol. nice simple game

Loved the art style and the idea, it’s so simple and yet so good. It got a little heated towards the latest rounds for a cozy game as I wasn’t being able to find the perfect timing and got a little tryhardy, lol. Really enjoyed it, incredibly creative for the theme for how simple it is. Edit: Also, while I didn’t toggle it, I really appreciated the option to turn off munching sounds. Gave the game one extra star in audio for it

Really loved the art style! Unfortunately I didn’t know what to do on Level 3 as the racoon wasn’t on screen and I was unable to interact with anything, I think it got bugged or I did something wrong. Super cute racoon ;w;

Really liked the humour and tone of the game lol. Got surprised by the dating sim elements. Congrats on this game :)

I can’t publish an image of the win screen because I was spamming click to kill the last bat and the game went to the win screen and I immediately clicked to go back to menu on accident ): But really enjoyed the swinging in this one. Incredibly well made hook mechanic. Also the art is incredible if it was really all done by you and during the jam duration. The level design was really well done with the looping and multiple pathways, combined with the swing mechanic it was definitely what made me want to finish it. I would have liked it a lot more if it explored mainly the movement, honestly the combat is the only thing that didn’t click for me and having it tied to the win condition was the only thing that felt a bit like a drag. It was super fun still to fin the bats through the level though, that was what kept me going. Good job!

Really fun! Incredibly polished for a jam game. Really great visuals and quality of life features. Also the name fits super well lol. I LOVE MAKING RIDICULOUS TALL CAKES {02FF9B23-B8D8-4349-AF63-407FC7F8C702}.png

Thanks for letting us know about this! It was a settings problem that didn’t allow the Itch app to download it so it apparently was only downloadable from a browser. Should be working on the app now too!

There is a second ending, which is hidden and mostly a joke.

In case you finished the game and want to find it (Possible spoilers): It’s related to a tree with colored eyes near the small island with fences southeast of the center of the map. You can, if you look closely, spot the tree from the second floor of the cabin nearby that small island.

te quiero mucho sokpop

grrr

muy bueno me perdí la latita del sótano al principio y me encantó enterarme de donde estaba escondida

sos capo amigo te banco

We’ll check and try to add support for other platforms, sadly Mac is a hard one to port for usually if you don’t have one

Me encantó tu traducción, jaja. En dos semanas, cuando podamos actualizarlo, le vamos a meter traducción al español y un final alternativo entre otras cosas. Muchas gracias por jugar!

años después cambié de opinión. el juego es bastante divertido. me quiero chamuyar a juani

The best looking one of the bunch probably, incredibly good aesthetics. Too hard for me to beat lol, but very impressive! Congrats on making it in so little time

Really enjoyed this game, haven't played many more yet but this is probably going to be my favorite. Super camp. I can't believe you even added a boss fight at the end, lol

There was a second ending depending on your choices! Just found it didn't ship because of a toggle not being clicked, lol. It's super sad to us, as it is literally in the game, but after the jam ends we'll be sure to update it to make it attainable.

Sorry, just checked and it's bugged out, which is really sad to us considering we spent the last couple of days implementing it and the only reason it's not in is one checkbox wasn't ticked on the last build, lol.

This game was made for a Game Jam so I'll ask if we can submit an updated build but we'll probably have to wait until it's over to reimplement it.

We'll temporarily remove that line of text from the features. Thanks a lot for letting us know of this so fast

Oh and [SPOILERS] to get the second ending, if it were working as it should have lol, you would need to reject Mr. Meat requests and don't look at the meat while cutting it. Do it enough times (5 times minimum out of 7) and when prompted to grab the knife in Day 3 you'll have the option to instead use it on Mr. Meat. We'll let people know once we are able to get it back up and running.

One of my favourite games here is Bases Loaded by kindanice, so I loved learning this exists. It's similar but with a bigger map and the idea heavily expanded, I enjoyed it :)

Wishing you good luck on the Steam Release!

Thanks for playing it!
