I'm not sure what the boss really has to do with the main concept; like, yeah, the letters are appearing in the console, but you're not really using the console to win, and it's not like a working console normally has the letters "WIN" in it.

We understand your opinion but I there any other feedback you ha?

Super cool concept. Very nice work and good variety!

Developer

thanks for playing and I’m glad you think it’s creative

This game has a lot of potential with the console based gameplay. In addition the music is great and the art is pretty. The animations are also great and overall very good job. :D

Developer

I’m glad you liked the game

That was a cool game.
I liked how each stage had their own spin.

And the final boss was good.  Might have been cool to incorporate the x y thing.
Like in addition to moving left and right, you have to adjust your y value to avoid some hazard like a section of the box being on fire.
Though maybe gameplay that needed typing and reflex movement in tandem would be too tricky.

thanks for the feedback! Neat idea with the boss

I enjoyed the game a little bit, albeit the "Defeat enemies" level was confusing and I finished it in 5 seconds. The Boss fight could really have done with a health bar.

thanks for playing! your feedback is helpful.

Yes, it reminds me of working on freelance code and putting objects into place.  Usually I just cheat and use gimp, but I do like the idea.  I think if you add other items of game dev into the game, it could become more fascinating!!

thanks for the feedback and I also watched the part in the stream where you played my game

Intriguing idea. I found the "input X & Y coordinates" mechanic the most interesting, and think it has a lot of potential for unique environmental puzzle scenarios. Minor note - I did have trouble figuring out how to input the coordinates at first (thought you needed to click the area being highlighted before typing). Still, I think the coordinate input idea itself is worth fleshing out further. Nice job :)

The game is visually ugly but ugly with good intentions, it's good design. The mechanics are creative and the idea seems very original to me. The music is sufficient, although not that great, it actually works well. Good job!

Developer

glad you liked the gameplay and the visuals are wack on purpose but i can see why you dident like them

Cool game, definitely like how you can mess with the x and y values, very unique! Would be even cooler if you could just mess with all the values like speed of player or number of enemies and stuff!

Developer

thanks for the feedback! we wanted too do more but ran out of time

I didn't expect this kind of game, but I'm happy that it was that kind of game.
Really good job, also I liked having a little Bossfight 👍

Developer

thanks for playing! glad you liked it.

Fun game to play, short and to the point! I liked playing with the positions in the console, fun way to change up the gameplay and fit the theme in. The boss level could've maybe used a delay in the enemy firing until the player moves, figuring that out was tricky in such a short amount of time.

Developer

we have been hearing that about the boss a lot but im glad you still enjoyed it

Nice game. I enjoyed the mixed types of game play for each level. also, nice art :D

thanks for the feedback! im glad you liked the puzzles and art

This was a lot of fun! I liked how you started to mix mechanics with each new level. I got stuck on the defeat boss puzzle. Keep up the good work

Developer(+1)

on the boss puzzle you use arrow keys. thanks for the feedback!

Very fun and simple premise!! I just really wished the UI better supported typing in the console :P and I kept dying to the boss before realising what I was supposed to do oopsies.

The music and SFX were super good honestly, and some of the puzzles were pretty creative and interesting. With some tweaking it could be a fun "Dude, Stop" kind of puzzle game!!

Nice entry!

Developer

thanks for the feedback! I already made dude stop like game called Malware inducing simulator. 🙃
