I've been seeing this happen a lot now, didnt think it would be possible haha. Thank you for bringing it to my attention, I think we needed to make it more bulletproof.

Don't worry, Outer Wilds is on the list... although I guess I'll have to move it up a few spots now. 😄

Yeah, we took a day off as well, but let's just say my boss wasn't exactly thrilled about it.

Haha, I see the issue now. I was thinking, "There's no way anyone is going to brute-force this, especially if it means having to deal with the dog all over again!"

And thanks for the kind words. I think Short Fuse is your best one yet. I absolutely loved it. Such a clever idea, and it was incredibly polished from start to finish. I'll definitely keep an eye out for it in the next Mark Brown video!

Thank you so much for playing!

Yeah, we were trying to make a mini version of Outer Wilds mixed with Minit. I still need to actually play Outer Wilds myself, but it's only ever on sale for like 40% off. I'm waiting for that 80% discount before I pull the trigger. 😆

I'm honestly shocked to hear that people are brute-forcing the candle puzzle! I thought having to get past the dog would make it too time-sensitive for anyone to try that.

As for the bridges, I deliberately added them as a tense little challenge because you're constantly racing against the clock. I was actually very close to making that section even longer!

Like with every game jam project, a lot of the feedback people have given us are things we're already aware of. We just needed more time to polish everything and think through some of the design decisions. To be honest, there were times when we weren't even sure we'd have the energy to finish the game since we were both working full-time as well. But I'm really glad we pushed through and got it done.

I'm happy you enjoyed the game! Short Fuse was amazing, and I honestly wouldn't be surprised to see it make the Top 100. I guess I'll see you again next year. Haha! 😄

Hang on, were you able to guess what the final code was? what are the odds of that haha.

A game jam with upgrades is something I love. This was great! good choice on the song, I could feel winter approaching with the tune. Also I had to restart a few times to make sure I was getting those good upgrades first

Thank you so much for the kind words! glad you liked it Minit was 100% a inspiration!

Hello, I actually seek you out, I just had a feeling you would do the game jam again. We have played each others games twice now and I just had to see if you were doing this years and im glad I checked. This is awesome! love the new take on classic snake. Really fun, really polished and really on theme. Well done, keen to see what you do next year haha.

I dont know if its just me, but a lot of these game jam games are hard hahaha. This is really well done, love the art and the voice at the start. Also that little detail of the sprite dropping down before the jump was a great touch. good stuff!

This game is really good, however I think you made it way to hard at the start. Sometimes just having simple rooms where you cant even fail helps with the flow of the game and make it go for longer. This has a lot of potential and would love to see you flesh it out. well done

I really enjoyed this game! Loved the art work, the little story at the start and it reminded me of The Neverhood. Honestly great work

This game was awesome. I loved the art style and sound design. The fact that you managed to have a story as well within the time limit is just insane to me. Well done!

Hahahaha no way! Small world hey. Glad you liked the GIF :). I checked out your game and loved it! 5/5 in all categories. Impressive you managed to slip in a story too. Ill write a comment on the game page.

Am i tripping? I saw you comment and I was like... wait a minute. Are you the same person who made a comment on our GMTK gamejam 2023 2 years ago? and I went to check and it was lol. Do you know us and like our work hehe? or did you stumble upon this game out of luck?

Thank you for the kind words!

This is a game I could see myself playing on the train! Although at one point I was stuck in an endless loop of attacks hahaha

Great game! you have a good talent for level design!

Thank you! Glad you liked it. Your game looks really good! ill need to check it out

Thanks for the lovely comment! yeah sure I can check it out :))

This game is awesome!!! nice work

Would of loved for the game to get much much harder! and maybe some power ups, like different food does different things, maybe you go faster, or your score is doubled  etc

This was so much fun, I was killing it and wished there was more content!

This was an amazying game! Very atmospheric and pretty! good job team! Love the intro too :)

Thank you for the feedback! We agree with the saving previous comp feature! if we make a full version we will be sure adding that in!

This was fun! I loved how I could roatate the map and the addition of the creators score. A nice little goal for each level. The only thing missing was some sound effects! good job on the project!

This was a lot of fun! super creative! I loved how you didnt cap the block limit at 100. Meaning that you can play super efficiently while its easy at the start and then later when its harder, you have plenty of blocks to save your character! Had a good time with this. Nice work!

The presentation is awesome here! bonus points for adding a score ladder too! nice work!

Glad you enjoyed the game!

Thank you for the kind words!

I didnt really have like a favourite level. But the way the game introduced the new mechincs and then blended them together was well made. An example would be the level where you had to fast forward and then reset to gain the speed and height to make it over the ledge. That was just really smart!

I saw you played my game so I had to check out yours and im glad I did. I had a blast playing this. What a great take on the theme. As a level designer myself. I loved the levels here, each added something new, having to mix mechincs in order to solve the puzzles was just the best! nice work lads!

If I could give this game 6/5 stars for presentation I would! one of the most polish looking games I have seen on the jam! well done guys

This was awesome! I loved the expressions of the veggies and dog! Just wish there was more. Also bonus points on having a story. with only 48 hours to make a game. Any story goes a long way. Goodjob guys! you should be proud.

Loved the art style and the swap mechanic. I got stuck on a few levels because I didnt know the blocks could touch the flag. Overall a very soild game! well done

Wish this game was longer! also nice music! great work

This was a funny idea! Loved the theme, the art style, the references! great work

We made a tower defence game too, so I wanted to check yours out. I had a fun time here. I love the switching the position for the towers! presentation was really nice too. Keep up the good work

Thank you so much for the kind words! glad you had a good time with the game!

This was a lot of fun! I liked how you started to mix mechanics with each new level. I got stuck on the defeat boss puzzle. Keep up the good work

This is really polished! good job
