the concept is fun and the gameplay was quite engaging!

i love that the heroes turn out to have stories and character development :)

sometimes i goot confused by the hints, as when i gave a quest with a "very good fit" label to a newcomer, the hero sadly died nevertheless :( as soon as i started paying attention mainly to their level and personality, things got better.

i think it would be great to know the winning condotions from the beginning, and maybe adding some more music would be also good :)

but i enjoyed the game pretty much! (and won as well hahah)

Really good concept.I enjoyed it but I don't where the end is hahahaha

Developer

Yeah, there is a win screen but it's maybe too long before you encounter it, even for me when playtesting. Thanks for playing!

Such a unique perspective and a very entertaining game! It really gives me a feeling of being a teacher, but the responsibility on my shoulders is also quite heavy. Assigning tasks to the characters, feeling happy when they are successfully completed, and losing health when they fail. Sometimes, consecutive failures can be really frustrating. How is it possible to fail such simple tasks? Hahaha, great game!

The charakters are cute, and i like the idea. Though the "Good fit" "Bad fit" stated on the cards takes the thinking away from the player. Did you implement the feature of the colors and weapons mattering? Cause that alone would lead to more thinking on the players part. The fit statues detracts from that

Developer(+1)

Yeah, it's something that bothers me too. I feel like I was giving too little information before but ended up giving too much in the end. The type of character and the weapons matter. If I continue this project, I will surely change that thing. Thanks for playing!

That‘s super funny - just saw your game and had to try it :D We had a similar approach (the name of our entry says it all xD) but I really like your approach of assigning different heroes to a selection of quests and finding out their fate as a result. :D I would love to see how this gets even more polished someday! Great work!

Great job! Wish I could understand a bit better what makes "good fits" vs "bad fits" and having a list of all adventurer's personalities would be nice but made for some on-the-fly decisions and scary situations

Developer

Yeah, some sort of tutorial was missing due to time constraints to be honest. Thanks for playing!

I like the concept and it captures the Jam's theme perfectly, good job! Gameplay is simple, but can get tricky, especially when you consider to give harder quests to newbies to keep your stronger heroes safe.

It seems like you were planning to add some sort of currency into the game, that you could get from successfull quests. I think that would definitely add more depth. I can imagine buying a potion to heal up a hero or a better/different equipment for them.

Developer(+1)

Yeah, I was planing to add some sort of progression if I had time left, but it ended up not happening hahahaha. Thanks for playing!.

This game taught me to give the deadliest quest for the novice, to keep the good ones alive. 👍

Nice game, I enjoy giving quest more than I would have imagined!

Great job. Like the idea.

Quest Giver devs unite! There's is almost a half of a dozen of us! I'm surprised that given the same concept and even the same name, the games are quite different. Cool game!

Good job on your implementation. We had kind of the same idea :)
