Thank you so much! We're excited to hear what you think of the update. Hope you have fun with it :)

Thank you so much! That’s such a fun coincidence, hamster minds think alike, I guess!

We’re really happy you enjoyed the game :)

We’re really glad you liked it! Hopefully it was hard in a fun way :P

Thank you so much! Glad you liked the hamster and the idea :)
Sorry you got stuck there. To get past the trap, you need to move back and forth twice before stepping on it.

The attack loop is shown in the bottom right corner, each square represents a time step.
The darker squares mean the trap is inactive at that step, so in this case, it only triggers on steps 2 and 4.

If that doesn't help, it might actually be a bug. If so, we’d really love to hear more details so we can fix it!
In any way, thanks a lot for trying our game :)

Thank you!! We’re so happy you think so :)

Thank you so much! We’re really happy to hear that you enjoyed the loop configuration mechanic and the visuals.
Glad you had fun puzzling your way through :)

Thank you so much! :) We are glad to hear that!

Thank you so much! We're really happy to hear that the puzzles and the way we introduced the mechanics stood out to you.

Also great to hear you enjoyed the art and sound! We truly appreciate your kind words :)

Thanks a lot! Super happy to hear the concept and visuals pulled you in.
We had a lot of fun exploring how much we could do with the core mechanic, so it’s great to hear it worked for you.
Being among your top games really means a lot!

Thank you so much! We're really happy you enjoyed the art, even though the game itself didn't load properly for you.

Sorry to hear it froze. We'd really appreciate it if you could help us reproduce the bug.
May we ask what browser and operating system you're using? :)

Thank you so much! We're really happy you enjoyed the visuals and the movement system.
We also love that you picked up on the little narrative element with the hamster going deeper.
Hearing that it's one of your favorites in the jam really means a lot to us :)

Thank you so much! We're really flattered, and we're super happy you enjoyed both the look and the puzzle depth.
It's such a great compliment to hear that you consider our game one of the best in this jam. That really means a lot to us, especially since we also think your puzzle game is one of the best in the jam :)

That makes sense, thanks for clarifying. :)
The issue you're describing is actually a bug that several people experienced during the jam. We tested the game with a few people we know, but only one of them ran into the same problem.

It is a bit tricky to pin down, as it seems somewhat random who’s affected and who’s not.
Either way, we’re really sorry you had to run into it.

If you notice anything else that could help us track it down more reliably, feel free to let us know!
And we're really happy you still enjoyed the game despite the bug :)

The idea is so good and I absolutely love the setting! :D The game itself has huge potential to be super fun but I think it's a bit too difficult to dodge the plain clothes - maybe their count is a bit high for the space in which you can move? And you have to play a while until you can remember which key you have to press in order to get the right color :'D But with a bit of tweaking here and there, it could be even more fun!
Oh, and I love the artwork, there's much work put into this! A really great and cute game you made there in just a few days :3

Wow what a fun concept :D In the beginning, it was a bit difficult to understand that I could use the 1-5 keys to select the monsters in order to attack the robots but with the controls on the games page it became easier and extremely enjoying! It was fun placing more and more little (and super cute) creatures to smash the robots :) And I looove roguelikes, so this is a plus! Really impressive that you made this in just a few days! Oh, and beautiful artwork :)

Thank you so much! We're really happy you enjoyed it :)
Glad you liked the puzzles and our little hamster!

Thank you so much! We're really happy you enjoyed the concept and the artwork :)
We actually didn’t know Ring of Pain, but now we're curious to check it out.
Also great to hear that the mechanics clicked for you after a bit. Letting players design the attack pattern was one of our favorite parts to work on, so it really means a lot to hear it added depth for you!

Very cool concept with some clever puzzles :D It's nice to see a programming themed game in this jam! And it seems really polished too!

Super clever and creative idea and quite challenging to get the hang of it :D It looks and feels very polished! Great work!!

Thanks a lot! So happy you liked the puzzles and the cute art :)

And that definitely sounds like a bug :o
Could you help us reproduce the issue so we can fix it in a potential post-jam update?

Just to clarify — do you mean the Z key on the keyboard? At the moment, it doesn't have any function in the game, so we’re a bit confused.

Thanks a lot! Super glad you liked the puzzles :)

Thank you so much! That means a lot, especially coming from a fellow hamster lover!
We're really happy you enjoyed the artwork and the gameplay :)

We’ll be happy to check out your game when we get the chance. It looks really cool!

Our team played together and we had to play 'til the whale was down because it was just too addicting :'D We made it in 61 minutes!! I can't believe that we actually played for 61 minutes because it felt like 10 or so? :D At some point, my team partner and me fought over the mouse because each of us wanted to play themselves xD

Your game was extremely fun, crazy and cute and we kept playing because we wanted to see more pinatas... the hedgehog was insanely cute :') (the others too of course!) My personal fav was the cake that could slice, really creative! The animations are simple yet incredibly fitting and make the game look even more polished.

Overall, super great game idea and execution! :)

Thank you so much! Really great to hear you enjoyed it, even if the levels were a bit tough.
And we hear you on the tutorial, that's definitely something we'd love to improve :)
One idea we had was to fade in the tutorial arrows one by one instead of showing all of them at once.
Unfortunately, we just didn’t manage to implement that in the short time we had.

We really appreciate you sticking with it and sharing your thoughts.
If we do a post-jam update, we’ll definitely think more about how to improve the tutorial experience and smooth out the difficulty curve a bit :)

Thanks a lot! Glad you had fun with the mechanics, and awesome to hear you liked the art and SFX! :)

Thanks a lot! Really happy you enjoyed the art and mechanics.
And you're right, it can sometimes be hard to tell which trap is connected to which row in the UI.
We’d love to improve that, and we’ll definitely keep your feedback in mind if we decide to do a post-jam update. :)

Thanks so much! We're super happy you liked the art style and the 2D/3D mix. it was fun to put together.
Awesome to hear you enjoyed the core mechanic too! :)

We had so much fun playing your game 'til the end!! The character design and narrative was really funny, we had to laugh quite much :D And the details & love you put into the narrative is impressive! It's insane that you made this as solo dev in this short amount of time :3 Overall, a fun concept idea and delightful experience!

Such an unique idea! It's quite interesting that the wheel rolls differently based on the place it's at :3 I liked the art as well! :D

OMG this is a real gem!! I'm stunned by the complexity but clever design and the concept overall! I love Baba is You and your game is just as great! It's super polished, cute and I love the mechanics ♥ You even added a lot of different content with awesome new mechanics to make the levels even more interesting. There's so much love put into this and it's hard putting every detail into one comment, so I'll say: I absolutely love every aspect of your game! Easily one of my favs :3

The idea to use gravity as a loop tool is super creative! :D It was a bit difficult but aside from that, I love every aspect of your game - the art is sooo good too!

Oh my gosh... I didn't know that a platformer could make so much fun and be so satisfying! I absolutely loved the mechanic that you can take a jump of faith and loop this way, I found myself doing it even when it wasn't necessary just because it felt great lol :D

Also, the setting is super cute, the controls feel intuitive, the tutorial is incredibly smooth, the movement is polished and the audio is well chosen - the overall experience is wonderful!

Really cool conept, it was a nice experience to be a rolling duck :D I like the physics and summer atmosphere!

At the beginning I somehow thought that I have to place a crate on the platform to open the door, so I got stuck for a while but then I realized the echo-ability and this was super cool! The echo took a bit long butaside from that, it's an incredibly cool game!! Also, super optimized - it's insane that you made this in 3D and it runs this smoothly :) Great work!!

Thank you so much for this lovely and thoughtful feedback!
We're really happy you enjoyed the art style and all the little details :)

For the soundtrack, we used music by Komiku and Zane Little, if you liked it, they’re definitely worth checking out!

Regarding your feedback:
– Thanks for pointing out the early difficulty spike. We'll definitely consider adjusting that if we do a post-jam update.
– The UI scaling issue is actually a known bug. We initially set everything up for 1280×720, assuming that Itch.io would keep the resolution consistent. However, on 4K monitors, Itch.io seems to double the resolution, which causes the UI to shrink. It's high on our list for a potential fix. Sorry you probably had to deal with that! (We’re also not quite sure what happens on 1440p monitors yet.)
– And we really appreciate you mentioning the music loop issue. That’s something we’ll definitely look into.

Thanks again for taking the time to write such detailed feedback. It really means a lot to us :)

Thanks so much! Glad you enjoyed the art and concept.
The music is by "Komiku" and "Zane Little". They are definitely worth checking out if you liked the vibe!

Thank you so much! We're super happy to hear that.

Honestly, we're just as surprised as you are that it all came together in time.
Lots of caffeine, a very determined hamster, and close to zero sleep definitely helped!

Thank you so much! We had very little sleep during those days, so honestly… we’re not sure how we managed to finish it either :'D

Totally fair point about the movement! You’re not alone there. Other comments also mentioned similar problems, so if we ever recover enough brain cells for a post-jam update, we’ll definitely look into improving that :)

Thank you! We're so glad you had fun!
The hamster is probably flattered… and just a little terrified :'D
Great to hear you liked the tutorial and puzzle design! :)

Thank you so much, really glad you enjoyed it!
If we end up making a post-jam update, we'll definitely consider tweaking the colors.
Thanks for taking the time to think about what could be improved :)

That’s super helpful, thank you! :)
We were able to reproduce the issue on a friend's computer, but since it doesn't occur on all systems, we didn’t catch it before submitting the game.
If you'd like to experience the game without this bug, you could try running it on a different machine.

Either way, it's high on our priority list for a potential post-jam update.
Sorry it happened on your system :(
