Cool concept! It could be interesting to see the movement of chess pieces used in some way!

Nice game! The art is quite nice as well. I think it would benefit from a failure condition though, as is I just spammed the pawn/knight/bishop and got enough eco to rush with every piece and win, which really doesn't feel like it should have worked.

Interesting mechanics! And the artstyle is very charming!

had a lot of fun! beat the game, kinda enjoyed just letting the timer run for a few minutes and coming back to like thousands of currency haha.

Interesting game, enjoyed the gameplay but the graphics could be improved :) Well done

Fitting for the theme, reminded me of BTD Battle! Great job for a solo game!

This was pretty awesome, glad I got to play this one. Had a unique concept and I love the chess aesthetic.

That was fun, I loved being able to play a TD as the enemies. I think that a lot of the game came down to spamming knights to increase my eco per second a lot until the rest of the pieces were trivial to buy, but that’s something that can be refined through play testing. Overall I think it was a great concept and I could easily play hours of this if it had more content.

I think this is one of my favorite games of the Jam so far! I love TD games and have never thought what it would be like to be the enemy. I think you really have something here. Like if you could work on the balancing and the strategy element this would be a INCREDBLE game! GREAT JOB especially as a solo team.

As a fellow BTD Battles enjoyer, this is very fun.

Run, my children, ruuuun!

That was fun! It takes a game or two to really understand each piece's cost and powers, but once you know them well, it's really challenging to try and get a better time!

Great job! I really liked it! =D

This was fun, and I felt like it really fit the theme. The only issue I have is that besides trying to get a better time, there was no incentive not to just wait until I could use stronger pieces, and never use the weaker ones.

A lot of fun and super fitting for this years theme! I liked the simple art too, super nice! :D

the bishop is op, 4 damage :O

Great game! Probably the best anti-tower defense I have seen this year. Also chess as a theme is quite nice too.

Extremely fun! I won in 4:36. I like the art style. The game is still fun to play after awhile.
