I really like the idea, and the music is nice. It might be nice to be able to place your troops to give it a more strategic feel : )

pretty cool concept and I love the cute pixel art as well as the music, but wasn't really enjoying actually playing it - gameplay felt a little slow and redundant

This was a fun little game that was very creative with the prompt. I did like the polish that was put into this game (like how you could push over some of the barrels), and I also did notice that you could control the bats! The music and sound effects also added to the atmosphere. At the end I tried to multitask controlling multiple enemies at once, but I found that spam-clicking attack was the most effective method. Overall, I'd love to see this as a full game.

Wow! Awesome game. Probably my favorite of the "Control the enemies and fight the hero" games I've played for this jam.

Presentation is great and the unique enemy types (including a freakin' boss) are very fun to play, though skeleton feels a bit op.

Great job!

PS: You should add some screenshots to your page, as the game offers way more than the current thumbnail might suggest!

It was fine, I managed to softlock the hero by continually luring him down and attacking him with enemies though lol

I really like the concept. At first I thought this would just be a normal tower defense game. However I think you managed to really make it  feel like you are playing as all the small enemies in a normal castle level. The art and music is also great! The hero AI feels very exploitable though. Skeletons can do a lot of damage if they run back and forth. Bats can literally just kill the hero if they continuesly make the hero climb a ladder and always attack them on the ladder, where the hero can't attack.

Overall this was a fun game though, good job!

I am glad you enjoyed it! We came a little short on time when playtesting and balancing the enemies and the knight. Thanks for the feedback!

I liked the game but I found myself strugling between mouse and keyboard. I'm a laptop user so the game became souls-like in a fraction of seconds (haha)

Soundtrack is lit. Very pleasing to listen and fits the castle very well with a controversy and comical mood. And the art? It looks astonishing. Monsters are looking week and the knight has nerves of steel.

Congratulations
