How does your game fit the theme?
This games reverses the role of the player as a fish instead of a human. This also reverses the direction of the fishing mechanic to go upward instead of down.

I really like the idea here, but I feel like it's held back by its controls. The camera controls feel off, in part because of the lack of vertical control. I don't understand why I need to take out and put away the fishing rod to move around when it could just always be out and lets you walk around whenever it's reeled in. I also struggled with the inventory system, and felt it could have been implemented smoother. I also found the game rather buggy. Trying to place the humans in the vivariums seems to be pretty clunky, and I manged to wipe my inventory doing. I also managed to cast downwards and soft-lock the game somehow. I love the concept of the game, but I wish it was a smoother experience to play.

Love the art!

Funny concept. Made me laugh.

I don't know what happened, but I think I soft-locked the game twice.  I think that the camera should rotate up and down as well, then it makes it easier to aim the fishing lure.  Maybe a first person view would help with fishing as well!!

I loved the main character  ! The overall aesthetic was good

cool idea! One can see you spent a lot of time on level design. I like it :)

Fun idea and good presentation. The camera and controls felt stiff, but I was able to get the hang of it after a while.

Hilarious take on the theme.

think the camera perspective and controls makes it too hard to aim the lure. This could've worked with a normal 3rd person cam, Or perhaps a 2D version of this would've worked better.

Even though it's using existing assets, I think you did a pretty good job using them together. Good job!

Developer

Yeah I was playing on the idea of isometric cam locks going up.  "a reverse iso" sort of thing but in the end it just reads like a hard to use camera.  So would have to work on either being clearer about forcing a new perspective or just freelook the camera.

Wooww, this is one of the most beautiful games I've tested from the jam, and since I'm already a fan of the seabed, I really loved it.

The game is fun but very buggy. Also this is the best humaning spot

lol that's an awesome bug!  I knew there would be all kinds of clipping areas and stuff like that in 48 hours.  But loovvvee the screenshot!

I like the concept! Definitely fits the role reversal theme. You also did a great job with the overall design of the envrionment, it looks pretty nice. Would always be nice to have a little more complexity in terms of gameplay, but pretty solid!
