Great presentation, and loving the concept of trying to survive as a Uno card !
Took me couple of games to realise how to play, but other than that good job! Cheers
Really neat concept and game looks super polished. My only criticism like others have pointed out is that the timing seems a bit slow especially at the start when there's nothing much to deduce and you're very likely to be safe, but other than that this is great!
the gameplay seems a little slow for me but the artstyle and the idea is awesome.
i reallly like this one. the concept is great, the art as well (look at those hands in the icon :o!) only the gameplay is slow.. the best one i met so far, GJ!
Super interesting idea for a game, a bit hard for me to figure out how to find the rules but it's not my type of game anyway so that's not necessarily bad. Lovely art style and music. Good game.
Really clever theme and the audio / art were really polished. Gameplay could've been more fun though. The rules often felt too random to figure them out without getting lucky, and once you do understand them it gets boring if the game goes on too long.
Can't blame you for trying something new though. All around it was a nice game.
Clever idea with cute presentation! I think having the list of what the rules *could* be would make it more enjoyable, since otherwise it's just too hard to figure out what the patter is from 3 plays alone. Maybe adding more players to the table would help on that front as well.
But the idea really is good and the time pressure for figuring out the rules is challenging and fun.
Yes! Because, like, from 3 examples alone, there are more than one reasonable/possible rule that could fit the that cards were played. If there were one or two more players at the table, you would get a few more examples before your turn, which in turn could help you eliminate some more possible rules, and find the correct one.
You could argue that it would make the game too easy, but I think the time pressure would still make it quite a challenge.
The game never ended and it started to drag on. There's probably a good game here, but I'm not waiting out the first level. Each time someone gets down to one card, a couple turns later they're back to a full hand. I do not enjoy Level 1 Rule 2 purgatory and I'm not going to wait to get out because I can't spare 10 minutes of doing the same thing over and over again (switching colors and numbers to not get placed).
Beautiful visuals and very creative concept though. I definitely would've enjoyed it more if the rounds were shorter.
We're sorry to hear that! The system is completely based on RNG, so with bad luck, rounds can go on for quite a while. Whenever I played, the rounds were only one, maybe two minutes long. There might be a way to fix the rounds being too long by manipulating the RNG depending on the card in the middle and the cards everyone else has, but we just didn't have time for that in the 48h. Thank you for your feedback!
Great twist on deck-based mechanics with an incredibly charming presentation. Some really great dynamic feedback elements as well (like Timothy's animations). Awesome job!
Really well polished game that was very enjoyable. Well done!
Also fits the theme really well.
I think I skimmed through the tutorial screens a bit too fast so when I was playing I thought I was supposed to match the rule. Really smart to keep the tutorial there, its my bad for not reading it close enough.
Great idea, great execution. Really charming game. Loved it!
One suggestion I have would be to make the game progress faster and faster, since once you figure out the rules, it becomes a waiting game to get to the next level.
Amazing game! The art is cute, the vibe both stressful and calm, and I love the fact that you have to stay focus to every move.
