There is a tiny cooldown after you move a space. Try holding the movement key for the intended experience. Unless I'm understanding the issue wrong...

Maybe on the html build there is delay, but I'm not noticing it during testing.

What problems did you have with the controls?

After a little while of gameplay, you get the hang of the rules. It's mainly just how much time you want to commit to the game. Also, what is difficult about the controls? I'd like to know in-case I ever feel like updating the game after the jam.

Dude finding a non-vampire survivors inspired mix and match interesting stats for cool combinations game is difficult to find. Thankfully, you pulled through I mean this is cool!

Victory!

The liquidy ghost movement is really cool! How did you do that?

Really cool and unique concept of defending against a virus! The gameplay was fun and the graphics look great.

I haven't seen many games about a parasite traveling from host to host! Very cool.

I ate the green cake very cool

This game has some great puzzles with simple mechanics! I got stuck a couple of times and had to think about what I was doing. It really shows that less can be more if you make that less really smart yet simple puzzles. Amazing game design. I feel a bit inspired to have a try at making my own puzzle game for the next jam I participate in.

homnnn

I will make those rat-things extinct

got the fish

I was gonna make a joke here, but I thought it was too cheesy.

It's nice to see games that are challenging (or I'm just really stupid). Well done!

Beautiful art and sound design, plus the music was great, and I liked the idea of an infection-based puzzle game, but the puzzles did not tickle my brain very well.

I love the title. Cool game.

Cool concept, but I couldn't figure out what to do. I burned the book and axed the table and burned something else too.

Cool idea. I think the art is very good and this has potential.

Got a score of 2300 before getting bored. Cool game. I like how it slowly gets more difficult as you get more powerful.

This is the best execution of this idea that I have found. Very cool.

I liked the art and the one light switch puzzle with the bunch of lights lined up.

Got a score of 1485.
Nice rat.

I'm sorry you couldn't play. That is very weird though.

A fresh idea! I like the retro cute style mixed with the immense blood.

Interesting game. I like the idea.

Interesting idea to make a choice based upgrade system with multiple runs similar to a rogue-lite. Very enjoyable.

Enjoyed the game!
It's cool how you added a puzzle element to hacking.

I just used itch.io to host the files, so the page blocked makes no sense unless it happens with other games on itch.io as well. Maybe a mix of keywords caused the page to block if you have some kind of parental limits on your computer? Or maybe something could have bugged out at that moment leading to the page being blocked, idk.

Winning is kind of a 50/50 chance I think maybe so that's not the main objective. The main objective is to get the highest score, so maybe it wasn't better to not attack oftentimes.

I didn't really understand the gameplay or which quests to prioritize because I was short-staffed and had no information on possible rewards.
Good visuals though.

Add Butter.

Super difficult, funny audio, couldn't get higher than the obstacle after 35 score idk if I got 40 score or not.

Good visuals. Good but hard gameplay.

Roles reversed is the theme, and yes reverse is used, but not really the roles part. The game was easy to pick up, fun to play, there was a great amount of variation, and I won.
I thoroughly enjoyed this game.

Cute little game.

Massive learning curve, but this could be a very fun game if expanded to add more movement options/upgrades/more guns and more enemies.

Are you able to try the windows build? I'm currently looking up the problem, but I most likely will not be able to fix it until after the full jam is over.
Edit: After researching, I have learned that according to Godot 4's official documentation: Godot 4's HTML5 exports currently cannot run on macOS.
Are you using a mac?

It seems like it's not just you. I would suggest trying the windows build of the game if possible,

Beautiful Game.
Great Puzzles.
Creative use of theme (Us guys with creative uses of the theme gotta stick together around these parts.)
Enjoyable gameplay except for the frog frustrates me. A power meter to show how powerful your jump is would be nice like in golf. That would save a lot of frustration. Also I'm disappointed that the key didn't get a fancy clever use, but beggars can't be choosers and 48 hours is not a lot of time.
Overall, I really like it.

No explosion. I'm disappointed.
Potion making was confusing. Would be nice if more details were given about how it works so I don't just have to brute force it to figure it out resulting in multiple page reloads because you can't just restart levels.
Stunning art tho.
