I loved the style and it was a good simple mechanic that I could be hooked on. Give it levels/upgrades/ gamey stuff and it could be a fun little game id play to pass the time. Very nice

Fun arcade romp, despite not being all that original.

In the late game, new towers were always placed in the most ridiculous spots, like all the way on the left edge of the screen, which means some parts of the screen were impossible to defend. Otherwise, good game.

Developer

Thank you for playing. The tower spawning is randomized, but maybe I could add some visuals to point that out more. You are meant to be using your mouse to aim at the enemies, all the towers shoot at the position of the cursor. So you can defend everywhere on the screen. Glad you found it fun :)

About "defending the entire screen", there's an issue with that.

This is hard to do if the RNG decides all towers should be on the extreme left side of the screen, bullets take forever to reach their targets on the extreme right of the screen and the knockback means they aren't pushed back, but further away from your bullets, which becomes a problem when they get more health. This pretty much guarantees you can only reliably defend yourself from threats on the left side or the center (which become right side if enemies are pushed by knockback). It's a small niggle, but I think it leaves how much enjoyment you can have to the roll of the dice. Sometimes the game just screws you over for no reason.

Good insight and I really appreciate the feedback. I understand your issue much clearer now, it was the “impossible” that confused me. Your game is really good and once again thank you for playing and giving feedback.

Really fun! The difficulty scaling felt just right and it was a good feeling every time I got a new tower. I liked that hitting enemies caused a bit of knock-back, so I could switch between hitting different enemies to delay their approach. Good work!

Thank you for playing and I’m glad you found it fun! :)

That was a ton of fun! It gave space invaders vibes, and felt intense the entire time!

Very interesting take on the tower defense genre!
I really liked getting more and more towers as I kept playing, fun game!

Very satisfying visuals and sound design! It would be awesome if there were different towers you could get, but it's great already!

Pretty fun. I was able to get up to 10 towers and a final score of 21210 I think. Got pretty hectic towards the end. I was hoping for a boss or different kind of monster to appear, but still fun as is.

Developer

A boss would be cool. Thanks for the feedback and for playing :)

Art style was fantastic. Would've loved to see more tower choices, but otherwise well done!

Pretty nice game. It would be cool to have some sort of selection in what turrets are added, just to add bit of strategy.

Developer

Good idea! Thank you for playing.

Fun idea. Great execution! would have loved to see a bit more variation early on :)

Looks and feels really nice! Love the sounds and the little animations/movement. The idea is simple, but the execution is really good. At some point (~7 cannons) it gets a bit too easy, so a few more enemies (or variants) could have a great impact.

Had a lot of fun playing, great job!

Developer

Thank you for playing! Yeah, I should have tested it a bit more. I’m glad you enjoyed it :)

The presentation is really nice!  Would have been nice if the pace picked up a bit faster but was still enjoyable.

I loved the sound effect for the towers shooting and it just kept getting better!
