Nice game! I really enjoyed smashing all of the bad guys! The game was very great and entertaining. No complaints! GG! If you have time could you come rate my game?

Mad respect at speedrunning the jam!

I was momentarily distrated and one of the hero managed to slip by and got stuck right before the treasure. Poor little guy. :(

Wow! You really made it in 12 hours? That’s really impressive! 😄

It was a nice little puzzle to trigger traps when the enemies were bunched up!

I feel like it would have been nice to be able to move traps around during the construction phase, as at the beginning you don’t really know what they do, and afterwards you can not move them.

But it was a nice little game for the short time! Great job! 🙂

Not bad for, what was it, 12 hours? I find it difficult to judge how good this concept actually is, it kinda needs more content to really know. But the execution is decent, it's a fine game, the pacing is tad weird though.

Excellent core mechanic that's easy to pick up with a great difficulty ramp and a good amount of strategy. Could be a lot of fun to expand with multiple heroes, traps, and dungeon layouts with more than one treasure to protect. Hope you keep fleshing it out! Great job :)

Great concept! The arrow trap is less intuitive than the other ones, but it is fun.

Submitted

Cool game of building a dungeon and needing to actually use the traps to defeat the heroes. The pacing is a bit slow though.

Really like this! The graphics and sound work really well with each other and the concept. Would very much like to see a more fleshed out version, with more traps, different dungeons, multiple entry-points, etc.

Great job!

This is game is fricking gorgeous. I would love to play it for a little bit longer maybe with added branching paths and new traps. And the animations is perfect I adore the little details!

Submitted

First game that i've seen that utilizes traps for killing the "heroes". Great idea! Graphics and sounds are also juicy. Overall a very solid submission.

Cute game that's very well put together!  It is a bit easy.  The art is very clean!

I'd play this on repeat, murdering link all day :)

Developer(+1)

Actually, it he only based on Link. He is Lunk, not Link. Glad you liked it!

The art, music and execution is very well. Idea wise the game is pretty much just a manual tower defense though. It's decent but it definitely needs to have more and be more unique.

Developer

Have any recommendations that would make it better?

Submitted

Really cool! I like the mechanic.

Great art and audio, perfect for a dungeon game.

Really fun to crush the heroes with various traps.

Developer(+1)

I added in the sound literally 15 minutes before I submitted it, but I am glad you enjoyed it. If you like audio, I have another game you might like. Hue Blast.

I hate to critique on amount in a game jam, but this really is lacking in content. In other words, too short. I think the idea and the presentation are really solid, tho.

Developer

Thanks for the feedback, and yes. I don’t have too much content in it. I spent too much time polishing it up instead of adding levels. If you want, I can let you know when I add more.

Submitted

Oh, sure, yeah. What was there was pretty fun.

Submitted

I love the visuals of this game! The aesthetics fit perfectly with the idea. I think a lot of people went with the play as the dungeon idea but you have created your own unique spin and it's amazing!

Developer(+1)

Thank you for the feedback! I am glad you enjoyed the game.

Awesome work! Really like the art & simple gameplay. If I had to nitpick the time it took to transition between waves was a bit much. My favorite parts were when I was frantically setting off diffrent traps, but most of the time I didn;t end up needing to so maybe that could have been emphisised a bit more. Really impressive stuff!

Developer

Thanks for the feedback!

Developer

I will try to take it into account sometime tomorrow. I won’t publish an update until GMTK23 is over of course, but I will update it after then!

In the meantime, if you would, please play some of my other games and give me some feedback on them. Thank you!

I love the art. But very short, not a lot of defense options or enemies. Also I I had a glitch where if a hero made it to the end they couldn't jump over the lip at the end. Because I couldn't put a trap there I was soft locked.

Developer

Was it a slow or fast guy? (Alternatively called Heafties and Lunks)

If you happen to get the glitch again, please send a screenshot/video of it. I am probably going to fix it eventually.

Art was done by Zephyrus (Link in a comment below)

Also, (little secret) I was going to add another trap called the Clampy trap, but eventually didn’t because it was too hard to time and wasn’t quite right.

This is what it was going to look like

It was one of those fast dudes, the lunks. Looked like he wasn't able to jump high enough.

Developer

Oh, thanks, I will take a look. I never had the patience to wait for them to go allllllll the way to the treasure.

Developer

Also the fat dudes are the heafties. The green capped dudes (Like Link) and Lunks.
