This is SO cool. I could see this turning into a portal-esque type game (kind of like Superliminal).

This felt very polished, had a great core game loop, and a clever use of both mechanics. Excellent idea, even better execution!

Developer

Ooh that's a good direction to take! Thanks for the comment.
Your game has a lot of potential too, I love it

A good experience based around a unique mechanic. I dig it.

Developer

Thank you so much! I'm happy to hear it.

Not sure about your backlog but very impressed you made this by yourself and it still felt 'full'. Great atmosphere & music that really brought the game to life. It was also a clever idea to base the game in almost total darkness to save a lot of time on art assets. I think it was those kinds of decisions that allowed you to focus so much on the experience. Nicely done!

Developer

Thank you! Good catch on the art. The echolocation shader definitely allowed me not to spend too much time in Blender and still keep interesting visuals.

Wow this game is beautiful! Really an amazing job on level building! Maybe it's a little too dark, but whatever. I loved this game, definetely one of my favourites!

Developer

Happy to hear it :D Your concept is incredibly unique. I loved your game too.

Great game and I agree with earlier comments, it's stunningly beautiful. To bad ctrl+w(crouching forward)  was shortcut to close browser tab in chorme, I should have downloaded it.

Developer

Thank you! It's not clear enough, but the crouch button is a toggle to be pressed only once, not to be held.

Great game I specially liked the art style and the dark vibe of the game :D.

Developer

I'm happy you like it! You've got a beautiful too.

I really like the art style and visuals of the game, it's addictive I had a great time playing and I really like the sounds used in the game D. Would you mind trying out my game and rating it according :).

Interesting idea. I'm one of those players who needs to be breadcrumbed to death, I got a bit lost and waiting for platforms seemed to take forever.  Visuals are good and the echo location idea is original.  Good work!

Developer

Thank you for the feedback! On the first platforms, timing can be a little bit tricky, but it's possible to bypass that. The subsequent levels give you more control over the timing with the turn wheels.

We had the same idea during development, I also have a draft of a name for the game called "2 Senses" but you implemented this perfectly and you did this all by yourself... Jesus how did you do this :D Great job man!

Developer

Obsession and a couple of all-nighters :D But it was worth it haha

The visuals are amazing, and the ambience was perfect for it. It’s a nice and calming puzzle game, and the mechanics were impressive as well. Seeing the sound waves was very nice. Good job! :D

Developer(+1)

Thanks! Your game is fantastic, I did not expect that twist :D

Excellent use of shaders. Neat idea for the theme too!

Developer

Thank you! I think your execution of controlling two characters with split screen was one of the best one of this jam.

Submitted(+1)

Wow! Thank you!

This visual is one of the best I've seen on this jam. Very cool story and puzzles.
Congratulations!

Developer(+1)

Thank you! I've enjoyed playing your game. I'll get back to it once I have time, it's simple but very addictive.

Thank you too! 🙏

Holy. Nuggets! What an amazing experience! I loved the mechanics and the quiet narrative! A masterpiece. Reminded me a lot of Journey.

Developer(+1)

Oh Journey is one of my favorite games! I'm happy it reminded you of that. I loved your game just as much!

Submitted(+1)

Incredibly impressive visual style! And a really neat way to design puzzles using a different sort of mechanic.

Being able to see the sound waves is, obviously, the most amazing part of the experience... to the point that I didn't really pay attention to the murals on the wall the first time through. I went back to give a proper look because I realized they were telling a story, but I'm not super sure what it was. I think that's on me, my understanding is something like a place which was sealed off which people wanted to get into and the big button at the end is how the door opens. Am I close? Did the character with the crown infiltrate the place to let people in or did he kick everyone out at first and then regretted it later? Or am I totally wrong? :D

Developer(+1)

Thank you so much! Don't worry, your understanding is just fine :D The story is left intentionally vague. I've decided on one before making the murals but I'd rather not give it out, I find it more fun to see what people come out with on their own. You're a bit far from the story I imagined, but I wouldn't say you're wrong xD

An interesting idea and aesthetics, I like it. Good job!

Developer

Loved your game as well! Great puzzles.

Submitted(+1)

The shaders were spectacular. I loved the fact that you have like an echo location that is timed to the piston moving up and down in the level. This is a nice idea. Great Job!

Developer(+1)

Thank you! I made the project available on the game page if you want to check it out.

Submitted(+1)

Great idea - nice outlines! Made in 1 person - amazing! There were moments when I got completely lost, but I liked it a lot. (Btw. I like the cover image very very much.)

Developer(+1)

Thank you! The lighting is pretty dark so it's understandable xD. Great art you've got in your game. Oh and the cover image is all Midjourney xD, I barely added some touches.

Submitted(+1)

wow! great outlines and overall aesthetic. all the menu's and stuff were super well polished  too. i did get stuck in the second room though

Developer(+1)

Thank you so much! Try looking around more in the sound "dimension".

Game looks fantastic, well done!!!

Developer
