Wow this is the best interpretation of the theme I’ve seen so far! Bravo! As some others are saying, there doesn’t seem to be any reason to run the programmed loop more than once since you can always reach GALE in most cases. But that’s an easy fix with some more level design.
Super fun game! Well done! I liked the gameplay a lot because programming felt really quick and on-the-fly once you got used to the feeling of it.
I was not a big fan of the fact that you could be really handholdy and just program super simple commands whenever you wanted because that trivialized the gameplay a bit. Maybe including new enviornmental features where you need to preprogram G.A.L.E. so she manages to get through some parts of the level on her own would be a fun idea.
Other than that everything is absolutely wonderful. Especially the visuals and animations where spot on. Also having a cute little story in a Jam-Game is always a great suprise.

Thanks for the feedback! Areas where G.A.L.E needed to pass through by her self were originally intended for the last two levels but due to an oversight they don't work as intended, that's been fixed post jam.
I really liked the art and there was a cute story too. I don't remember very much about the music so it was probably not bad but also not very outstanding. "Programming" the move patterns was pretty fun. Maybe indicate that you can change the pattern after you've set it. That would be helpful.
I got frustrated in level 2 where the open
got pushed by the 
trying to push the 
through it. As I didn't expect it i was standing there were the door got pushed to and died. If this is intentional: This is very confusing.
