Looks great, plays great, sounds great. Punching the pests into pools of acid is very cathartic. It is unforgiving though! I wish there were some checkpoints (or health pickups) in the beginning, especially near the challenging area where you have to reel in the grapple while dodging bullets. Outstanding entry!

AshScendIt is a hard, but very fun game! The art is amazing, the music is a real jam, and the game is very well polished. I got to the ending, and died quite a lot in the process. However, because the gameplay was satisfying, I didn't mind that much retrying the levels.
The use of grapple and punch is solid, and the game has such a cool retro vibe. Great work!
