A creative approach! A neat twist on the idle game formula, the upgrades were mostly all worth it and the game play is entertaining to watch.

That being said, some more strategy would have been great, as climbing ladders + taking damage quickly falls to rng. Maybe if you could buy  + sell dice during the dungeon as a way to influence your rolls? I also didn't really like how you had to return to the main menu before trying another run, though that's a very minor issue.

Overall a very solid entry! I had a good time, the idea is fresh and very well presented! Would love to see an expanded version with a few more mechanics :) Good work!

The basic concept is solid and well executed it does get a bit repetitive after some time but I think that can be fixed

The artworks and sounds are amazing. It's really addicting to just roll the dice and see and hear the pawn hopping tile by tile.

It feels like some upgrades and mechanics are irrelevant (adding ladders and climbing ladders) and one in particular is downright making the game harder (increase dungeon size). I believe you probably already have a bigger picture in mind but just doesn't have enough time.

Despite that, I really enjoyed the game and played it for couple of minutes. Thank you!

I thought about this concept when the theme was announced  (without all those game mechanics), i didn't start on this idea due to lack of dev skills and time to learn all that.
You managed to make it well and i really enjoyed it even if luck wasn't on my side!
Congrats for the game!

Feels slick, and finished! (Except that I had no idea how to quit the shop at first … I thought that returning to the main menu would kill my run.)

In a way this is almost an auto-clicker (not that that’s necessarily a bad thing), in that it’s about ‘numbers go up’, and most of the strategic choices are made in the shop, not during ‘actual’ gameplay. – Also because I only rarely got the choice of a ladder … I think I was in my fifth dungeon when that happened for the first time? – The perils of doing randomization during a gamejam. (And maybe also because if dungeons get larger you cannot see where some ladders are going when given the choice, and most of the time, you have enough health and there are little enough knights around, so why go up a ladder most of the time?)

I hope I don’t give off the impression I don’t like the game, sometimes I just keep coming up with criticisms even for things that are fairly enjoyable. I do really like the dice upgrade mechanic for example, or that you can also ‘sell’ dungeon/dice upgrades if you somehow made things too tough for yourself.

Thanks for playing! I appreciate the feedback. And yeah you've hit upon points that I decided not to address in favour of finishing the jam so its vallidating that you brought them up, thanks!

I imagined the game having more player choice, if I had had more time I would have addressed that flaw in the gameplay and so the randomness would feel less unsatisfiying and larger dungeons would meean more options for choice.

I havent decided whether to continue developing this project but feedback like this definitely inspires me to continue so thanks again!

to be honest, I don't know the target...I don't know how to win...but the sound feels pretty good!

Theres no real endgame here other than make loads of money! Thanks for playing!

Funny ladders! =)

Reminds me old tabletop "Circus" :) Sounds and feels awesome. Would love to see more interaction with the map / dices.

love this so much! either i'm extremely unlucky or dice are unable to roll their max, besides that small thing everything else is top tier.

I noticed the same thing, yeah. Either way though, it seemed like you'd get to your destination by the end, so it doesn't matter too much ^^

there is the same pleasure from progression as in clickers. It's interesting, but I understand there is no new discoverable content yet. Improving coins per unit of movement is the most powerful thing you can improve!

Pretty pretty good

Good idea! it's fun to play around with and it's pretty cute. Good work!

Was fun to figure out how to make the most money

Really love the art-style, I just wish there was more variety in the gameplay

Submitted(+1)

Well. Your game really has a nice presentation, sir!

Congrats! 👏

Nice game, loved the idea. Kinda feels like a fun idle game, like clicker heroes.

I couldn't figure out how to get past the shop, if there is anything past it to see.
