Wow! This game is really clever! The idea of getting the number of moves equal to the number of the die is so great! Good work!

I liked the creativity and the parallel you created with golf. I was just a little anguished with the number of moves I had, sometimes it wasn't possible to complete the level with the initial amount of moves, or at least I couldn't figure out how to do it. It would be really cool if there was a way, you know? a shortcut or something, so I can be strategic, think outside the box, and solve the puzzle in an unusual way. But anyway, for the time available, you guys did a good job and I think my advice might serve for a future version, who knows?

Thanks for checking out our game =] congratulations on your submission

Solid puzzle design, especially for 48 hours - all the puzzles felt like they were part of a finished game.

Cool idea. Finally a piece of puzzle where you don't have to think of every move. Giving a perfect mix between luck, thinking and not enforcing the player into a very specific solution.

Wow, this is inspired. Having the two dice in their feedback loop is an simple but maddeningly elegant bit of design, with enough depth that I doubt you'd have any trouble fleshing the course out to a full 18 holes. Don't get me wrong, I definitely sucked at beating the levels under par, but just because I'm not a massive fan of these more open-ended sorts of puzzles doesn't mean I can't appreciate the vision! Just great.

The game's presentation is top-notch... The concept is a really great take on the theme without randomness... Amazing game!

well thought game, a much more daring at the last level. it was a realy nice experience.

Nice concept. I like the switching between the die and at least for the last stage, actually managing how to solve the puzzle. Otherwise most of the puzzles were a bit more on the easier side and having the other dice roll basically indefinitely when the first one is gone makes it even easier. The games looks good and with a bit of balancing and some more challenging levels could be a fun puzzle game. Good job.

Voww. Great puzzle. you made me think a lot for the last level man. ngl :)

Very creative design! Simple but still a head scratcher. Good job!

This puzzle theme has been repetitive but you got it different and added a new dimension with the multiple dice.

Fun concept, easy to understand, and surprisingly tricky to master! Also excellent presentation on both the game and the itch page!

Something I've said on other games with an orienting/rolling the dice mechanic is it would be good to teach and show the player some of the different maneuvers to orient the dice how they want earlier on in the game, but that's a hard thing to pull off even in a fully published puzzle game.

Super impressive submission for the jam!

That's the really fun game! Sound design is just perfect!

Nice job!

Congratulations on the jam. You made a solid game. Had to really finagle the final level. Are the moves given to each dice random? Or is it a set order based on the level? Maybe if you wanted to iterate on this idea the moves you get could be the number of pips face up on the die? That would be a real test of spatial awareness. Thanks for the fun :)

Thanks for the comment. I may not have been too clear on the rules in the tutorial. The number of pips on the blue die determine the moves on the red die, and vice versa.

Wow yes. That makes lots of sense :)

I see we've both gone for golf games. It's great to see a puzzle interpretation of dice golf. I think the puzzles could have been improved if when you ran out of moves on the last dice, instead of just giving you the moves from that roll, you fail and have to retry. It would add some more depth and problem solving.

I also encountered an error when my dice was on a button platform and then the other dice moved off the button deactivating it. The game crashed completely.

I really enjoyed the core mechanic. It was really unique and creative, with enough depth for more complex puzzles, if you had more time. You could easily make a full puzzle game out of this.

A solid puzzle game for 48 hours, good job!

This game looked and played very well! I really liked the mechanic. I wish there was something to say what the best possible score was on each level, but that's a really minor complaint and this game is incredible for the two day time period :)

Developer

Thank you for the comments. I have tried to go with the golf metaphor, and have "Par" in the lower left corner be what I thought was the best possible score, with "birdie" being awarded to those who found an even better way.

I want more! Really enjoyed this one, the visuals are nice and the concept is great!

Pretty neat concept! With each stroke distance being determined by a dice roll, it's hard to get a good score, haha.

Man... you did it all alone in 2 days!!! This is incredible. Nice visuals and level progression, could easily play much more levels. Well done!

Submitted(+1)

Love the mechanics, the last level really stumped me a lot. I think something that would improve the overall experience would be an indicator of what your dice will land on when you move in each direction, since it's hard to keep track of what number is where on the dice.

Yeah, I was obviously not clear enough about the fact that you can press Q and E to look at sides, and that the game expects you to know that the opposite sides always add up to 7, to make planning every move fair and with no luck required. Thanks for the comment!

Oh wow you're right! I can't believe I missed that, that's on me my dude.
