Presentation is amazing and feels like this game goes deep (way deeper than  I've the time to explorer), and also a very interesting interpretation of the theme! Well done!

This is incredible!

Such a unique game. The atmosphere of supervising an expedition on the far away planet, using terminal limited control of the console is conveyed beutifully. I love that feeling of booting up the game to see an empty console not really knowing what to do, and then slowly discovering new pieces of information and realising how much is actually in there.

One small complaint I have is that I can't turn the console to full screen or make it smaller, and as a result do not see the last line in the console, unless I drag the console up and hold it there, which is super inconvinient.

Still, great job!

Solid GMTK submission. Great atmosphere of discovering the unknown, imagination can go wild in this game. Is there anything I can do, when the batteries in the rover are running out? Option to get back to ship and launch another rover would be great, because now I need to restart the game, which breaks the immersion :/ nevertheless, good job!

If you would like to play another atmosphere-based game, then I'd be grateful if you could play and rate my game :D

Loved the attention to detail w.r.t. the terminal. Things like ‘repeat last command on arrow up’. All commands having a help option. Proper context sensitive error-messages.

It seems pretty deep as well. It’s hard to get this much of a sense of mystery from a jam game –that you believe there is something more to it– but you pulled it off. You can actually see the objects orbiting the moons (though they seem to be static – at least in two consecutive snapshots). I found that on a moon with vegetation (forgot to write down the number… and the up arrow doesn’t work past the moment of landing…) The screenshot from the commenter below is also intriguing.

I’d have preferred to explore this without the pressure of the batteries draining for every action. I get why it’s there – to enforce the interpretation of the jam’s theme, as well as add tension … but I noticed that it also keeps me from exploring more, as I always want to play it safe.

Overall I enjoyed this quite a lot, and may return at a later date to investigate some more!

(Lastly there are a few typo’s: ‘Moon to land on’ is listed in the help of the analyse command. ‘It was launch the …’ should be ‘It was launched the …’. ‘Rover successfully switch battery’ should be ‘Rover successfully switched battery’. – Also you can switch from the main battery to the main battery.)

anyone know what this is? it seemed to move when i got closer to it.  when i reached it i ran out of battery and couldn't switch to a new one so this is the best snapshot i got

I'm surprised there aren't as many procedurally generated submissions. You're game goes to prove that it was a very solid interpretation of the theme. Well done!

Do check out our game too:))

Great idea, better execution. It might be a bit intimidating to someone not used to terminals though, was some prompt at the beginning considered? Also it is cool but I fear it would be for people liking Dwarf Fortress, not regular players. A bit hard to find how it does in the topic, but it is random based so I guess it rolls the dice. That being said I leave positive rating, because myself I really like it.

I am not a native English speaker so text adventures are difficult to me. However, I can feel the charm of it and I really like the random procedural generation.

Great job!!

This game is completely unlike anything I expected to come out of this jam it is one of the best game I have played in this jam and caught me so off guard. When I started and saw how much info there was it nearly scared me away but I'm glad I stayed because the world building done in this game is incredible... I am definitely sending this to my friends!

This is one of my favorite game so far. It's completely different from what I expected and it was so interesting to explore the different possibilities it offers. I think I'll try to explore it more after this jam.

This is a fascinating game! At first being me by a blank screen seemed like there wasn't going to be much, but this is deep! I didn't really figure out anything, but it was fun to explore and I could see getting lost in this for some time! Nice work! This snapshot feature is so cool and eerie!
