Original idea and veery fast paced straight into action, I like that :D The only thing for the future - it would be much easier for a player if the player character would have some highlight/glow/other color than the enemies, because at the beginning of every round you now need a couple of seconds to understand who is who :) About the presentation, everything was there - coherent art style, animations, original music and sounds, that is for the big plus. Overall, one of the best game I’ve played in this game jam so far :D
Clunky controls, didn’t get used to them although I’ve finished the whole game. Most times I’ve felt like i have lost not because i’ve done something wrong, but because of the controls. Anyway, witty idea, aesthetics are amazing, game design is quite strong too! Really good game jam game and quite lenghty too!
Edit: Just now I found out about changing the controls layout in settings (at first I thought that it is for rebinding the controls, not changing how they work, so I didn’t bother). It is more intuitive that way, but still.. something is a little bit off about controls here (maybe because I got slightly used to previous “not too comfy” layout? dunno at this point ¯_(ツ)_/¯ )
Thanks for playing! Yeah, there are some problems with mouse, we saw it after the submission period, luckily, that they are not game breaking. Current game with the floating mask is like a bare minimum, that we planned, but, of course, we had no time to implement further ideas. Thanks for the tip with shaders, we will probably make use of them in upgrading the game after the voting period ;)
Solid GMTK submission. Great atmosphere of discovering the unknown, imagination can go wild in this game. Is there anything I can do, when the batteries in the rover are running out? Option to get back to ship and launch another rover would be great, because now I need to restart the game, which breaks the immersion :/ nevertheless, good job!
If you would like to play another atmosphere-based game, then I'd be grateful if you could play and rate my game :D
Nice horror game, I especially like the building of tension, really good excecution ;) The only thing, that could be better is adding better lights, when they were on, because I had some problem with the orientation. Oh, and the contrast between soft melody in the hall and the things that happen was great :D
If you would like to play something horror-esque with similar atmosphere, then I'd be super grateful, if you could play and rate my game :D
Amazing experience, great idea and execution. Very hard to win on the first try, but I do not mind losing, if I am immersed in such an atmosphere :) Splendid narrative work.
Anyway, if you want to play an other game, that is climate and mood driven, then I'd be super grateful, if you would play and rate my game :D
Great game with witty concept, polished as hell! It is even very nicely balanced. If it was really made in 48h, then I'm beyond impressed, didn't know that it is possible to create a game on such level within such a short period.
Anyway, if you (or anybody else) could play and rate my game, I'd be super grateful!
Great atmosphere here! Especially, considering the setting of the game, heh. The only thing, that gameplay gets a little bit repetitive after a while, but looking at the moving sky with that music in the background was something special.
If you could rate my game, I would be super grateful, I think you might like it, it is also based more on the mood and climate :)
I tried to play this game, but I can't, I'm sorry. Buttons do not work as listed in the instruction - you say there is some dice assigning on ABXY, but in reality on A is jump, on B is roll and on X is attack if I recall properly. When I click right or left trigger, then hero gets into block position. If I click right or left shoulder, then there is an animation of getting hit and after few clicks, hero dies. When I get to the center of the village, then camera changes and I can't even move. The only thing I can do in that moment is to click space or A to see animation of getting hit and after few clicks my hero dies.
Controls are hard to grasp and not so perfect hit boxes are a little bit frustrating. You have a bug, that when a player plays on keyboard, then dash and roll is on the same key (S), so the game is pretty much unplayable. Gamepad works fine. Overall quite creative mechanics with great art (probably the best aspect of this game).
Thank you for a kind comment! A loop is not the ending, you know you finished the game, when you see a "thank you for playing" screen :) There are two endings, but they are quite hidden, we didn't have time to work on better communication to player.
Soft spoiler: one ending requires using dices and the other one requires using a gun :)
