I have immediately slain all the people for the meat in the first playthrough and got stuck :D I need to be more careful next time :)

It sends a message.

oh boy, was this a different use of the theme! a rather interesting idea, I don't know if your vegan yoursef but definitely got me inspired to become vegan. I didn't expect to spend this much of time on the game!

i liked the concept lol, but it was a little hard understanding what i was doing

A moderately unsettling idea that plays like a fever dream. While it's not something I expect to play, the atmosphere of this game really stood out even with the basic art and music.

From a gameplay perspective, I see no reason for the player to have an inventory since there is no reason to store anything. Every time bread and water is purchased, I would just pour them all out on the field. Same case for milk and meat, which gets sold immediately. I think more can be done on this front to make the player balance between storing and selling them.

Great work on the game. I just hope it doesn't come to haunt me in the following days.

Thanks a lot for your feedback! I see your points, now that I think about them having an inventory really doesn't work well here. A lot has to be rethought and done for the game to make better sense and play well. Maybe selling meat and milk as soon as they are harvested, having a feeding area that gets refilled when you buy water and bread without the need to drop them all yourself, less repetitive seasons as others suggested etc 🤔

I am here for a creepy human farming game. I spent a lot more time playing this than I anticipated. I would absolutely love to see this idea expanded upon!! Really great work!

Haha farming humans! Nice spin on it. It was fun at first but the same thing only with bigger numbers got tiring, especially after losing your whole flock in the new stage. Nice execution tho

pretty novel idea and fun setup. the gameplay gets repetitive after a bit and I always felt like I had a ton of money, removing any difficulty of the game. but also I feel like I am now on an fbi watchlist for playing this so idk

Great music, especially on winning a season :D Coherent art style with cool animations and whatnot. Base game design is there, but every season could be bringing some new mechanic, that would be awesome. Nonetheless, great game for this jam ;)

This is a morbid take on the theme that's executed in a funny way! Simple and straightforward 👍

Crazy take on the theme! Loved the idea and gameplay.

Love the concept, flipping farming on it's head. Definitely an area with a lot of possibility!

I'd love to see some extra elements that make the humans more human-like to really emphasize the flip; maybe their needs are comfort based, and take up time they could be producing milk.

Haha, that's fun and intimidatingXD

Absolutely horrifying, well done. After a while it felt like they stopped producing milk. Overall it was a great and creepy twist on a farming game!

Submitted(+1)

Well that is certainly disturbing, but well done! Made me laugh.

I just wish some of my people had brown spots and others had white spots, that's what I like about my cows anyways :')

Vaguely gory but entirely hilarious. Props!
