Really cool game!

Developer

Thanks! Glad you liked it!

Awesome, it works very smoothly and it is easy to get addicted to^^  I would probably make the weapon more powerful...but probably because I'm not the best shooter ;)

Developer

Thanks for your feedback! I'll check the weapon damage in the future! Glad you liked it :)

Really liked how polished this is.  Very nice.  I ended up getting to level 20 but ended up with a massive crowd of monsters chasing after me.  Id recommend to maybe waiting between rounds or wait until a waves worth of enemies is dead before spawning the next.  Fireball seems a little underpowered, 3 or 4 shots to kill one

Developer

Wow, wave 20 is a pretty decent achievement after how hard I made it. Glad you liked it and thanks for your feedback!

This game is beautiful and has so much potential! I think an upgrade system with more abilities would be amazing. Well done!

Developer

Thank you, I will give a though for the future. Glad you liked it!

Wow, super solid entry. Well done!

I appreciate the more straightforward, mechanical approach to the theme of having to kill enemies twice, effectively. This felt like playing two bullet hells at once which was certainly a unique take on the genre. Everything felt pretty good and that lightning animation/sfx/ability was top notch. I just sat there in the tutorial casting lightning because it felt great. If anything, I think making your fireball have the option to be held down instead of clicking repeatedly would make this a bit more user friendly. My finger got tired very quickly as the difficulty ramped up. Any game that asks the player to repeatedly and quickly make the same input should ask if an accessibility issue might come up for rapid button presses. Something to think about for future jams!

Congrats on making such a polished entry. And that mouse character is pretty cute. :)

Developer

Yes, I agree with you. There were several things I have to improve on it. I'm glad you liked it and thanks for your feedback!

Amazing game, I love the artwork, I love the waves of enemies. I wish it was a bit slower or there was another ability for crowd control and the only critique is a volume slider. The sounds in the beginning was very loud.

Amaizng game, I gave a follow and added it to my collection as I will be playing more to best my score of wave 11

Developer

Thanks for your feedback!

Was there more to the tutorial after the lightning strike? I waited a while and then ended up pressing the skip intro button.
It would be also good to give the player an idea where the obelisk is because the map is quite large.
I didn't really feel like there were "waves" so much as a constant onslaught, my first go I made it to wave 4 and was surprised as I thought it was still wave 1. I also noticed that the wave counter was up to 2 before the first enemy arrived.
I also felt like in the tutorial the lightning blast hit all 3 little monsters in one shot but in the game it didn't seem to be as good or accurate. Not sure. Maybe I just wasn't as accurate due to the panicking.
Visuals and music were good

Developer

Yes, those are some of the main points that I should have improved. Other people have told me that too. Thanks for playing it and for your feedback!

This game was quite fun and addicting! It feels pretty cohesive and it's nice to look at aesthetically, I like that you added just the right amount of bloom without it looking like too much.

The only thing I'd say is it might be cool if you had a progress bar to fill up the oblisk with souls from the defeated enemies.

Overall I had a lot of fun playing this, well done! :D

Developer

I'm glad you appreciate it. Thanks for your feedback!

This game is so polished!! The art and sound design are flawless, and the animations have so much life and character! I love your interpretation of the theme, where enemies transform and attack your power core. Congrats on the fantastic entry!

A very nice game! Great work compositioning the level and meshing the art together! I did run into an issue where I think the intro got stuck after me being taught about the lightning strike ability. No new text game up and nothing happened so I just skipped the intro and then it worked finde. The amount of enemies gets high real fast maybe a little gentler increase?

Developer

Totally, some points I should improve. Thanks for your feedback!

Wow, that gave my mouse buttons a workout :) Lovely intro and setup, very high quality. I struggled to keep the little monsters at bay, got to wave 14.

I'd suggest allowing autofire by holding down the mouse buttons. Really nice little game, you should develop it further!

Developer(+1)

I will think about it! Thanks for playing it!

This was a fun little game! Feels like something I would find on addicting games back in the day. I enjoyed how you setup the intro, let the player get the feel of the controls before just plopping them into waves. The aesthetic was great, the sprites, music, and gameplay felt like they molded together very well. Great job! Although I did notice in the beginning if you go towards the trees below the house sometimes you will appear in front of it instead of behind. Other than that the game was a treat!

Developer(+1)

Thanks for playing it! You're right, I should have improved the layers sort :D
