Huge congrats to win the story category. It was really deserved.

how is this voice acting so darn good? that is SCANDALOUS!
you stop it right now!

jk.
keep going.

awesome little vignette with a very nice mix of said voice acting, lovely pixel art and the light music.
the story was slightly cliche imo, like I wouldn't have minded something more unique and personal in her story, but I guess that's a matter of taste.

execution was definetly on point!

What a touching little story with perfectly fitting art. This was a nice shift in pace for me. Very well written and acted.

Lovely game, lovely voice acting, and lovely soundtrack it fits so well! but I was kinda confused at the backyard, I spent a minute trying to find out that I need to sit on the couch XD, maybe you could also implement the "interact with the environment" things in the backyard so players also get to know more about the old lady while finding out what they must do

Aww.  What a sweet little game.  I loved the story and presentation.  Art and voice acting were top notch also.  Great job everyone involved!  The cookies were delicious 😊

There was obviously a lot of thought and effort put into the making of this game. The aesthetics and voice acting fit the theme and tone very well and the story is very heartwarming. Overall a very nice entry.

Wow nicely put together. The experience was really nice with the selection of music, the voice and the many choices in the story.

Thank you for the great submission. It was a very calm, engaging experience. The VO was great as was the music.

Very sweet and emotional. It's a bit like an interactive story rather than a game. Cheers!

I really love this one! First off, the voice acting was so good, it really tugged the heart strings! The art was also really nice and sweet to look at!:)

I love being able to interact with her home so you can build more of a connection with the grandma, it made it more difficult to be with her!

The dialogue is also fun and I loved the humor behind "to die for" the cookies, and overall it was well-written!

I'll be sure to share this with some friends, it's a really nice and emotional game!:)

I couldn't speak to the old lady again after I entered her house, so I think I missed out on the story. The art is really beautiful, the music is lovely, and there's a nice nostalgic sort of feeling when you're walking around her living room clicking on objects. However, once I hit continue, I couldn't interact with anything in the yard. If I missed something, please let me know so I can try again and see the ending!

so after I came back and saw the thumbnail, I tried again and interacted with the sofa and got it to work! Some clue that you can interact with the sofa would have helped. but it was a wonderful experience anyway. I got emotional. Excellent use of the art and music and dialogue all together. nice job!

Didn't thought a game jam game could be so emotionnally intense... Thanks for this experience, it was very interesting to listen to the questions an stories of one who will die. Poetic entry!
