Movement and controls feel smooth, props to doing all the assets yourself.

Always lovely to see new people in the gamedev scene ^_^

Hope to see you again

Really nice game!

Nice game! to say something to improve, some sprites like the player and the portal are a little bit blurry, in unity i normally fixed that changing in the option of the sprite "Filter Mode" to "Point (no filter)", i hope you make more games!

Developer

Thank You! For first i will make this game better, by added more functions, improve bugs and art new assets (and music ofcourse!).

Submitted

The character control is good. Maybe it could be better with some sound. I like that nothing happens after fall.

Submitted

I think there was a meaning in this game. when u fall nothing happens, the name is after death. maybe it means after death nothing happens

some music would be nice, anyway it was a good game

Submitted(+1)

Great job on your first submission! The movement had a good feel to it and I thought it was great that you did all the art yourself too.

Developer

Thank you so much for playing! :-)

Congrats on submission and making all your assets. Doing the programming and assets together for the jam can be quite the daunting the task. Player controller was solid and moving around felt good, which is huge for a platformer. Checkpoints for level 2 would be a plus and constraining the player movement in x while climbing ladder would be good. I feel if you focus on the level design, add some music and sound, you'll be making some pretty fun platformers.

Developer

Thank you for playing!

Great idea with checkpoints at long levels! I will add this mechanics after Jam ends. :)

Thank you for the game. I would like to try it again when you fixed some of the issues and see where it is going. Good submission though, keep it up.

Developer

Thank You so much! :)

The controls and the camera movement felt nice. Congrats on the submission!

Nice job! maybe need some sounds, i like how u increase the difficulty

Developer

Thank You!

I thought i made the second level very long and difficult. 😅

Submitted(+1)

The movement felt great. The jumping was great but a tiny bit floaty (just a bit). Once I died I had to restart the game to try again. Music and sound effects would bring this to the next level! Keep up the great work and congrats on the submission!!

Developer

Thank you so much!

I will fix all bugs and do more intresting features at this project. ☺️

Good solo effect. Congrats.

The die mechanic seems to be buggy. " Buggy submissions are okay! Hotfix patches are allowed after the deadline if you want to fix bugs".  That's from the game page itself.

Keep up the nice work

Developer

Thank you!

All bugs will be fixed after Jam ends. You may follow me at itch.io and track progress of this project. There will be a lot of features. 😉

Nicely done. Making a game by yourself in this amount of time is very difficult and you should be proud of what you've accomplished. Keep at it.

Developer

Thank you!  Very pleased to hear! ☺️

It played well and the graphics were good but you should really change the filtering from bilinear to point. If you click on a image file in your project you get the screen below, I marked the option you could try changeing. Cheers and good job!

I tried to do that after You comment and it's looks good at static, but in motion not so good. I think at future i'll increase resolution of my sprites.

Thanks for your advice! :)

Of course! everyone has their own prefrences! :)

Fun game:) I was stuck at death condition is it expected?)

Developer

I think you are talkin about fall under the map. Yeah, it's a bug, cause i didn't add this funcion.

I'm already imporve this, but don't update the source, cause it's not fair to other game creators. After Game Jam ends i will update my game ;-)

Submitted

They say  it is ok to fix bugs. You could check in the discourd, and then upload a new version

Developer

Yeah, I know that fix is ok, but not sure is it really a bug. I forget to add this mechanics, that why i think it's not fair to add it's now 🤔

There are a lot of improvements that could be made to this game, but I appreciate your effort to getting this finished for the game jam. I fell at one point in the level and nothing seemed to happen. But the platforming felt good and the controls were nice. So good job overall.

Fun game, nice assets. bit of a shame there is no sound tho

Developer

Thank You! After end of the Jam i'll add sounds and music :)

nice work on the assets, but i would have recommended putting more time of that in the game itself, it feels really incomplete.

i may be stupid but i couldnt get past the last jump in the first level, doesnt feel like it is reachable.

edit: i retried and found the trampoline, it is almost invisble. didnt manage to pass the second level because it the player is so slow so i didnt want to redo it after dying so far in

Developer

Thank you, I will consider all comments. I think for the second level I will make items that speed up the player, and make the trampoline more noticeable. :)

Submitted

awesome, I might recheck the game after you update it

Submitted(+1)

Nice game ! Really challenging but fairly.
Nice work on your assets too.

Developer(+1)

Thanks a lot! :)

Good  game, controls are well done and precise.

If you plan to continue, maybe add some checkpoints to avoid restart of the entire level, in case you die near the end.

Congrats for all the work !

Developer

"If you plan to continue, maybe add some checkpoints to avoid restart of the entire level, in case you die near the end." - good idea, thanks!

And thank You for playing my game! :)
