Great premise! But unfortunately, I don't thing is executed properly. I guess because of short time period

Interesting concept.

I was able to get the "Invading is Defending" statement. I was a little disappointed there wasn't any fanfare or acknowledgement.

After you get enough statements, they start to overlap. Minor gripe, but it would have been nice if their icons and text shrunk after the list gets long enough.

Not sure if I was playing it correctly but I was getting a lot of combinations in there. Seems like an interesting concepts. Graphics are great and so were the sound effects, i would suggest adding a background audio just to set ambience while playing.

Very creative, I like it!

You can see how much work that must have been.

Very cool to mess around with all the combinations. I got 17 combinations before I figured it was enough searching :D

Thanks for your feedback! This version is a bit too hard and the combinations start overflowing a bit, but we made a post jam version a few hours after the deadline: https://melonmouse.itch.io/motivated-reasoning-post-jam-version

Cool idea. I liked the goal trying to prove something like that. It was hard to tell which things would actually make something new, but that's all part of the experimentation.

We considered highlighting the matching statements, but didnt implement it in the end because we ran out of time.

Very cool game! I don't know how to pass the first part.

Developer (1 edit)

Sorry to hear that! It is too difficult for sure. We realized that, but too late; we needed another hour of devtime after the deadline. The fixed difficulty version is here: https://melonmouse.itch.io/motivated-reasoning-post-jam-version

It was a really cool game and a great link to the theme. Maybe to make it easier you could change the color if they can and can't combine.

Very interesting and creative idea. I could not get the first one haha. It got to be way too many bubbles on the screen. I really liked the placement and sound effects.
