Simply amazing -one of my favourite games of the jam. I loved all the little details that went into making the levels feel like a real micro environment. I liked the animations of every item falling into (and out of) place when switching rooms. The background track really set the mood of every level.
Well done!
Huge game with fun filled levels, if you enjoy pixel hunting. I was lured in by the charming design of the game which got me playing for a long time. Just lovely!
I loved this. Graphics, the simple animations and transitions between rooms, different types of bugging (loved the nod to gameoff coding ;) ) and creative solutions. Polished, thought out and fun. Loved the animations when they got bugged out.
Amazing job :)
PS. And forgot to mention collectables, really nice way to bring more attention to detail
Wow, really nicely done! I love the take on the theme. I like how everything falls in and out of the level, nice transitions, gives the game a nice sense of polish. Charming pixel art and creative puzzles. Some of the levels are really tough so thank you for allowing the player to skip. Collectables too, a very solid rounded experience, great work for a game jam game! One of the best I've played for sure :)
Nice game! The idea is really cool! Unfortunately, I can't figure out the Dracula stage...
Good job!
Glad to hear you enjoyed it! :)
Oh, that level has a few things going on :D If you were wanting to continue on, you can skip levels from the pause menu (P in browser). We also have a walkthrough available here: https://octobass.itch.io/dont-bug-me/devlog/323952/walkthrough-dont-bug-me
Thanks for playing! :)
My favorite game of the jam so far, and I've played a bunch. This idea is creative and fun to play, the artwork is perfectly stylized, I love the music, and the game is very nicely polished (the collectibles, the ui). 5/5 excellent submission.
Really cute artwork, and the most creative theming I've seen! I don't think I've ever really seen a game like this before... I mean, Untitled Goose Game is about annoying people too, but the gameplay style is completely different...!
The puzzles were kinda frustrating... it pretty quickly became a game of clicking everything in the scene to see what works. Some objects were unclear with the pixel style... for instance, I had no clue what the small yellow object I picked up off the cafe wall was. Maybe tooltips would help?
I love the animations at the starts of levels, and the game runs really smoothly!
Glad to hear you liked the style of the game (and that it ran smoothly)! :D
We're going to look at expanding upon this game a little once the jam completes and part of that will involve the introduction of a tooltip/highlight to make it easier to identify clickable objects/keys to the puzzles. The yellow object is meant to be a coat hook, haha.
Thanks for playing!
Excellent entry! It was really really clever to interpret the theme like that :) With some more tweaking like some clarity on when you drag the items, to be able to see easier what it is combinable with, this could be such an excellent releasable game that I'd for one buy!
Wow such a very nice and complete game, there is even collectable and collectable room ! ๐คฉ
The isometric pixel art are so well done and there are so many different levels.
By the way, I was happy to be able to skip some of them to see them all because I found some of the puzzles really hard and without clues I couldn't solve them ๐
Your game is really great, I hope it will be at least in the top 5 ! ๐
