In what way does your game fit the theme?
You are going to chaoize the world
Did you write all the code yourself and made all the assets from scratch?
I made all the code and art.
Some sounds are from Unity Asset Store :)
We used Ecret to make the music
Hope you enjoy the game!
Feel free to build and share your own map in the chat :DDD
If you find the levels are too easy? Import level 15 & 16 at the bottom of the description ;)

The art of this game is BEAUTIFUL!
It's great. Everything just feels really nice. I'd say the game might be a little easy, though. It doesn't feel very "chaotic" though, no matter the fact that you're "chaoizing" the world.
Either way, great job!
Indeed. We had spent 2 days thinking about "chaotic" gameplay, but we couldn't.
So we made a puzzle game and put the "chaotic" element on other aspects like art or story.
Kind of think out of the box, right lol?
anyway, thanks for liking the game!
Wow, the art in this game is insanely polished and well done! Super impressive entry on every front!
Some feedback, even with the intro levels for each mechanic, it's not super clear what each tile upgrade does.
thanks for the feedback! we will make some better tutorials in the future.
Perfect in every aspect, I really enjoyed it! A great, polished game
thanks for playing! glad you enjoy it!
Really interesting idea, Really makes you think in some puzzles, loved the art style and the animations of the board, I am curious though in the first level is there a way to get the golden wings?
I also tried the level editor I have to say it works really well except its missing a way to play test the maps because otherwise you just delete everything and have to make it again, i did a small map to test it out but it definetly was difficult without a way to test it.
Overall I really like the idea and it has a lot of potential, would definetly want to see more of this
haha yup, the first level is a mistake xd
about the level editor, we had noticed this. But we didn't have time to implement it like that.
thanks for your feedback!
Probably the best entry that I've played so far! very well polished and 12/10 for the arts!
Thanks for playing :D
This game is criminally underrated. Please make this a full release. More levels, and maybe a brief story to go along with this game and I would easily pay $15 for it. I am blown away and really hope this game wins overall. I wish I could give criticism, but I have nothing. The polish here is unbelievable. The final level stumped me, but the helpful information in-game taught me everything I needed to know to solve the puzzle. And a level editor?? How did you do all of this. Seriously, amazing job.
We did it in 5 days. The first 2 days, we were struggling with the theme xd
We really want to make a full release too. You'll see how we can go from here ;)
Really incredible entry! the art and ui look so good! it took me a bit to understand but when I did it was very satisfying.
thanks :) always room to improve!
wow.
yay!
This game is stunning. Beautiful art, nice and intuitive UI. Looks like a top notch puzzle game from google play/app store.
thanks for playing :)
have deleted your other comment. It's duplicated..
This is one hell of an entry - it felt pretty complete: nice music, great visuals and pretty good gameplay. It took a little bit of time to get accustomed, but other comments already pointed that out and I have nothing to add to those.
Overall: one of the best and finished entries I have played in this jam - good job!
Thanks. glad you like it! :D
It's a little more calming rather than chaotic as far as gameplay goes, imo. But I do see how it could fit the theme given the backstory. Other than that, this is an impressively polished puzzle game! The UI is so clean, and the controls are simple enough that I didn't need a tutorial to quickly grasp the concept. This game has so many features for something made in a week, well done!
we couldn't think of a chaotic game mechanic. So we just made a game and then add some chaotic elements to it lol
Gotta be thinking out of the box, right?
Nice puzzly game, loved the fact that you can build a map own your own.
overall pretty fun game
Thank you man!
I'll comment based on the criterias along with the score I gave out of 5.
Game Design: 4
I feel like some of the tutorial levels can be merged together. For example: levels 2 and 3 can be merged together to introduce the fire element, just like how the water element is introduced in level 4.
The Codex and the control page while in a level is not obvious; they're not immediately made known to the player until they click on them.
I have a slight issue with the Rock: in the game page it's depicted to have 2 different sprites for being walkable or not while chaoised; while in the game it's depicted to have the "walkable" sprite as long as it's chaoised, regardless if it's broken. This can be a little confusing since the tick on top of a tile blends with the mentioned sprite. Level 10 illustrates that perfectly.
Seems like it's impossible to get "Gold" in level 1; I can only finish the level with at least 10 moves, not 9. Not sure if that's intentional though.
Fun: 5
I'm craving for more levels, so I guess that's a good indicator that the game is fun(?)
Innovation: 5
It's quite rare to see a hex map game, for me at least. The interactions/mechanics are quite fresh to me as well.
Theme: 3
A demon wants to chaoise the world by occupying or destroying tiles... guess it's chaotic.
Graphics: 5
...wow.
Audio: 4
Calming- suits a puzzle game.
Conclusion
A really solid puzzle game, along with a level editor! Though the level editor could use some more work like being able to load levels through their code, having a decent one working in 7 days is astounding.
Oh and I also have made 2 levels; their code can be found in the comments section.
Hello, we really appreciate that you provide such an in-depth review and also sharing your own levels. Glad you enjoy the game so much! I would like to give responses to your comments:
As you said, the written tutorial is kinda counterintuitive at the moment. We implement the codex page and control guidelines around 30mins before the deadline so I guess it is better than nothing lol. Also, tbh we quickly rushed the tutorial levels in order to "remedy" the missing proper tutorial.
As for the rock and other UX stuff, you are also right. Like the tick sign, it is originally a placeholder and supposedly it is an eye icon you can find in the infographic, we just don't have enough time to change it.
And regarding level1, you are right too. It was a careless mistake lol.
We would fix bugs and add other utilities and levels after the voting period if we have time ;).
Great music, well designed chill game with a level maker feature to boot. Only critique design wise is introducing the elements/concepts a bit better.
Hello, thanks for your comment. You are right about the tutorials. Unfortunately, the jam has its time limit :(.
Wow, this is a great game. Excellent job. :)
thanks man!
Wow, this game is very well done! And a bloody map editor within 7 days, that's insane.
A downside being the game doesn't feel very "chaotic" other than using the words "chaoize" in the game description. A puzzle game perfect for casual mobile play, hope to see it published soon.
Hello, thanks for your comment. We initially planned to add more atmospheric effects to make it feel more chaotic and also in your initial idea, some elements can swap tiles or do other cool and chaotic stuff. But unfortunately, we didn't have time to put these skills and effects into the release version.
Very nice graphics! Really Well Done! Video Review: 12:50 Morning Star
That's awesome bro! Thanks for putting it on a video!
Wow, blown away by the art and presentation.
A freaking map editor? are ya'll for real? madness, A+.
I like how the early levels tutorialised the basic mechanisms but it still would be nice if the elements had a little more explicit clarity as to how they interact with certain tiles.
My only other criticism would be that levels need a reset button, as just mashing back a million times got old every time I got stuck.
All told tho, totally loved burning the world to smooth jazz, keep up the great work gang.
that's great feedback man! Would definitely make it better in the future
The most polished game I've played so far.
Nice work.
thank you for playing :)
