In what way does your game fit the theme?
You are an alpaca that needs to start the alpacalypse, to do so you must create chaos by burning and destroying everything in your way.

Did you write all the code yourself and made all the assets from scratch?
all the code and art was done by us and the music was bought from a humble bundle

Great one! It is fun and quite chaotic too! The changing music when there is more and more chaos is a really nice touch. BURN BABY BURN! XD

I would have loved to hear some more sounds when something burns or gets destroyed, just to make it feel even more chaotic. I did also see some people move on the ground while they were dead, which was weird.

Overall, really nice entry!

Funny game! One bug I found, the people that are lying on the ground still move which I found a bit weird. Enjoyed playing

Developer

Thank you for playing, Yeah for some reason the AI behaves weirdly in the built version, in engine it actually worked perfectly fine

nice to see you again Vician! Really fun entry! You have a lot of crazy ideas, an alpacalypse burning the world?! lol

Have a lot of fun playing your game! Nice job!

Developer

Glad to see you again, definetly one of the parts that i enjoy the most is the design and brainstorm part and we wanted to have the player have as much fun as possible while destroying everything, thank you for playing

Love the art and the game idea!

Cool game, loved the the theme of being an alpaca running around and destroying everything.

Really fun game. loved creating chaos with the fire power up. This felt really awesome!

Submitted(+1)

Haha that was really fun :D You got the theme on spot ! My only complaint is lack of visual response in the game. There should be particle effects , clearer hit sounds i should clearly know if i took damage :/

Also when making pixel art please make all of the sprites same pixels per unit :d

Other thans these i loved the game great job :D

Developer

Thank you for playing, all the sprites are actually 32 pixels per unit but I agree that the art is not the forte since both of us started learning pixel art not too long ago so there is a lot of room for improvement, thanks for the feedback.

Loved the artstyle. Cant wait to see this game expand. Marvellous job!

Would appreciate if you rate mine: https://itch.io/jam/brackeys-6/rate/1176432

One of the best games I played in this jam, with cute art style and funny story. It was satisfying setting fire to everything with the fire breath.

Some things that could be improved:

  • Make it more clear what can damage the player. I didn't know that the panicking people could damage me
  • I possibly found a bug. If I pick up the fire breath powerup, I think it starts a timer and if that timer goes out, I revert to the normal ranged attack. The problem is that if I pick up another before the timer runs out, nothing happens and the second powerup is wasted. It should reset the timer to the beginning.
  • This is really nitpicking but the attack animation feels delayed. The damage occurs way before any animation actually plays. Maybe make the animation more immediate when clicking? Or sync the damage with the headbutt.

Thank you for playing and for the feedback, The chili reseting was planned but we had to finish other stuff you know the classic gamejam experience but we made so the chili respawns after a while so even if you dont get the results you wanted you can try again later

Submitted(+1)

Yeah I noticed it respawning, it was a good workaround :)

Funniest game ever XD!!!!!!liked it ♥

proof that you don't need much to make a fun game.

theme is spot on, i think too many submissions missed it

maybe work a bit on clarity next time, i spent a bit too much time trying to do something the wrong way and not understanding what can hurt me

Developer(+1)

Glad you liked it, if you dont mind me asking what were you trying to do that was "the wrong way"? i know some other people had problems in the first level but it's always good to learn from these things

Super fun and very chaotic too!

I love it!! I wasn’t able to find the hammer tho :( But overal an amazing game!!

Developer(+1)

Thank you for playing, yeah the hammer is not in the best position but with a bit of exploring you can find it around the north area of the map

Submitted(+2)

great game really fun to play, but I guess that the fire is a little bit op (overpower)

Submitted(+2)

Nice game design. Fun to play.

Really funny game XD Few glitches where i couldnt get through the wooden white highlighted gates when i pressed space or with my range attack. Really fun idea

Developer(+1)

Glad you enjoyed it, The highlighted gates can be opened if you have the hammer that is somewhere around the map

I like this game, but the art is very inconsistent. Those cows are tiny, that car is huge! ahaa, nice work.
