Haha that was really fun :D You got the theme on spot ! My only complaint is lack of visual response in the game. There should be particle effects , clearer hit sounds i should clearly know if i took damage :/
Also when making pixel art please make all of the sprites same pixels per unit :d
Other thans these i loved the game great job :D
