Due to all of the raised concerned concerning the results of the vote, Today we are conducting a re-vote, the following rules will apply.

  1. Popular vote will be between now and Tue the 26th.
  2. Popular vote works just like it did before, authors get as many people to vote as possible
  3. Once popular vote is concluded, the final posted results represent 60% of the final scores
  4. Clickteam will spend a additional two days voting on their choices to represent the 40%
  5. Clickteam will use the same voting system but weight the votes for 40%.
  6. Clickteam voting will consist of Jeff, Simon, Olivier, Kisguri and Daniel. All Clickteam Staff.

All previous winners will still get a copy of Fusion 2.5 Standard.

Thank you Clickteam! It really says a lot about the company that you are willing to go above and beyond to do right by your customers! Best of luck to everyone... think it's time for me to start counting my pennies to invest in a copy.

One quick question - are the original votes going to be cleared? The entries all still say "Rated by X number of people". Thanks!

Indeed votes should be reset, here it's zero votes currently.

Unfortunate revotes aren't working... Midnight Mastodon is saying that if you look at the top right of https://itch.io/jam/iwanttocreate/rate/71559 you will see that the DB still has the people logged who voted for it.

Host

odd, cause if you look at that link, it also says for me zero total rating across the board at the top.

I will e-mail Itch.io, best I can do.

Submitted

Thanks guys. I see the confusion too with the big 0 on the entries page and then cumulatives on each game page.

I try vote for different games, but big rating at the top of page still show zero.

I think Itch.io jams it`s not platform for big contests. It`s functionality work only for small jams.

Thank you Clickteam! And i still promote my game =D

I've gone back to rate about half of the games now and it shows up on the game submission page, so i think it's registering them. But yeah, the "overall ratings" number is still stuck at zero for me too :/

Submitted

Same. The rating is 0 for me.

I have messaged our friends at Itch.io about it.

thank you :)

Wow, again...

Truthfully, that all actions (revote troubles) make contest much less fun than trouble with winners. =(

I voted again on all entries as fairly as I could. If the voting system isn't going to work and let's face it you've gone above and beyond in trying to make it fair. I believe the next best solution is to rely on staff votes 100%. That way it's impartial, and emerging developers can get some much need realistic feedback.

Just got back from a slightly long vacation. First thing i see is this. All I have to say is that I am glad Clickteam put in the effort to add in a revote so that people like BadDoge, people who only won because of promoting their game, can be replaced by people who actually spent long nights and days in effort to win. (No offense Bad Doge, but people like Dave C. could have made that within minutes. He should have won.

Any input on how to make it better than the last one is more than welcome. We have plenty of time to iron out any bugs. The Weirder Stuff event is part of a month long promotional period for Fusion in October.
