great game and sold immediately for me when I saw the super cute 3D pug.

Great work

A super silly and clever idea, I loved it. Sometimes the rats would get stuck against a wall and I'd have to restart, but I had a lot of fun playing this. Great work!

Super good art and the game mechanics are quite unique and lead to an interesting game loop!
Very good job!

A really well-polished and well-made game. The mechanics of the game is not hard to comprehend but I had a lot of fun playing this game. I can tell that the artwork is really professionally made, and the music and SFX are pretty good. The presentation of this game is just superb. Well done! By the way, the rat's AI is a little strange. Sometimes the rats are so clever that they can easily dodge the dog, while sometimes the rats just get stuck in the corner. But anyway, nice job for a 48h work! Had a lot of fun!

Nice mechanic and aesthetic! Feels really polished for just 48hours of work! My only real feedback is that in some areas the rats don't stand out from the floor so it feels unfair when a bunch of them come out from off-frame and make me drop all my treats. But other than that I had a lot of fun with this one! Nice submission! Would like to see what the post-jam version looks like :)

Developer

thanks for the feedback! we'll make sure to improve those little things 😁

Loved the tutorial! Very well executed, great idea! 3D models are great, and the sounds too! Feels a complete game! I had a ton of fun with it! Nice job!

Developer

It will feel like an even more complete game when we upload the post-jam update. Thanks a lot! 🤗

The idea of this game is fantastic! Very original and clever! And about the game itself, my biggest gripe would be the dog losing momentum when we move... it can get a little frustrating. But other than that, excellent entry!

Developer(+1)

thanks for playing and thanks for the feedback!

Really cute and  well done presentation! The concept is pretty fun, the rats can get stuck in the corners where they're very hard to catch. Also camera movement could use some work, because I kept running accidentally into the rats becasue they were just below my view. Other than those small things, really nice submission :)

we are super happy with comments like this, thanks! In the post-jam update the rats AI will be fixed as well as the camera. In fact, the camera itself doesn't have any problem cause it calculates a middle point between the boy and the dog (slightly towards the boy) and stablishes a height depending on how far away they are. We'll tweak these simple parameters to find a better, more clever perspective of the map :)

That's a really fun, well presented and best of all clear game! It's well telegraphed how to play, and has enough feedback that it's completely obvious how it works. I love the way the premise makes sense too.

It's pretty hard, especially when the rats are against a wall. The dog loses momentum a bit fast when you go out of sight too, which makes it a little frustrating when dodging around things. Also the camera zoom doesn't let you keep track of any rats that are off-screen, so you can run into them a bit easily.

With a few tweaks, there's a lovely little game there! Well done.

Developer(+1)

wow, thats a lot of feedback, thanks a lot! We're planning in playtesting a lot more to tune these little things and make the game more enjoyable. The rats AI, camera and dog eyesight raycasting certainly need tweaks here and there. Hope the post-jam update make of our game an even better experience :)

Really fun and one of the best presentations in the jam for 3D games

Thank you very much for the comment and for playing our game! We tried to enhance our strong point which was 3D and we are glad to know that we have managed to like it!

heheheh really funny and cute. You  know how to  make a good 3D not being odd and poor,  make an original interpretation of the theme and how to combine it with a funny story and sounds (the movements and barks of the dog are nice details). Congrats!!! You are a good team!

Developer

what a wholesome comment!! thank you so much for your kind words. Glad you liked it :)

Pretty fun game, with cool graphics ! I found a bit frustrating that rats damage you, as they are really small and can change direction really fast, but I guess that's what makes the challenge in this game !

Developer

of course my friend, if the rats didn't damage you, the game would be too easy, the point is that you have to dodge the rats and your dog but i'm glad you enjoyed the game! ^^

A neat concept and really well presented!

Developer

We love that you think that!

Really fun game, and great concept to have to avoid your enemies and your ally as well. The different level designs also kept it interesting. Well done!

Developer

thank you lots!
