I am a fan of Junji Ito, I read almost all of his works, and seeing that there is a game that is inspired based on his works is just amazing. the way he deliver the story in every chapter in his manga is very similar to this game. the artwork, the shader and even if there are just 3 colors that is present in this game, it is still a great game. I love the game. I don't think I would've loved it if I hadn't known about the works of Junji Ito. Anyway, I really like the game. :)

I've played...a LOT of horror games. Like...probably going to start going to therapy a lot and this had one of the most unique jump scares I've seen. If this was 100% intentional it was well thought out. I think I've reached a point where I've become desensitized to some horror games I play, and this game actually had me fairly spooked. I guess the idea of a home invasion seems a lot more real than some horror games and added to the spook factor. Art style is an easy 10/10, of course.

Oh, I loved this, the visuals are amazing as is the sound design. I think I nearly shattered window panes at a certain scene, the pacing is phenomenal and the spooks are well earned. Great work, Andreas! I really do wonder about the mountains and the title, since they hint at a larger mystery of that place, maybe? Would love a sequel that takes the protagonist on a stroll through those desolate trees and mountain sides.
I am absolutely sorry that I did not think of looking at the options to not struggle with the mouse sensitivity, this is the third PC game I’ve played in the last 10 years, so I am a bit rusty when it comes to the basics but I hope, my playthrough still shows off how much fun I had with this one.

The manga-esque style encapsulates the visual artistry of Junji Ito, and the simple yet crisp sound design brings in that fear factor. It's size is perfect, and tells a quick, mysterious yet tantalizing story.

Really striking use of colors, captures the mood of a Junji Ito story perfectly! I also really love the inverted mouse controls when you see the invader!
great game, I don't play horror games because I hate jumpscares, but this has that eery creepy atmosphere that I like from horror games without trying to shock me with a loud noise or jump scare. Really awesome for just a gamejam
The game as it is, is finished and probably wont get any mayor updates. It was always ment to be just a tiny game becouse it was created in a gamejam under friends. Maybe i will make a sequel or a similar type of game in the future but who knows. Hope that awnserd your question! ^^

Captured Ito's style perfectly with the final reveal, and the art style may look jarring but actually plays very well into the tension.
