This is a fun game. It’s fairly complex without a playable tutorial but when making a game in 72 hours you rarely have time to include one. Scientifically speaking I’m not sure ‘vegan’ should be the top score, but that’s probably a whole debate to have. Having 3 ‘shooting’ options and given how slowly the player character moves, it gets fairly hectic, which is nice. Perhaps if the munchie could somehow make it known why they don’t like certain things the player can learn more intuitively.

I didn't read the instructions first and was momentarily terrified when the munchy first appeared and tried to shoot it before anything else showed up :D
Lots of nice juice, certainly felt very impactful to shoot/hit things!
The camera shake seems to be changing where the guns aim. That along with the foods all being big and close together makes it hard to hit anything on purpose.
Awesome game! kind of made me hungry. The camera shake could have been reduced a slight.
Insanely awesome graphics. Some dropped frames on my computer, but still a fun concept.
It's fun, but it's hard to figure out which foods hurts you and which ones don''t. Like... why is that tomato with the one eye bad? Why is a little bit of bread bad? For educational purposes, it should tell you what you are doing wrong.
Yeah the game mechanics can be over complicated. Basically each food has a different way to be prepared. By pressing 1 you use the boiling gun, 2 the roaster gun and 3 the frying gun.
You want to avoid boiling apples because is gross for example. For a full tutorial and explanation on how to cook each food you can press esc and get a list.
My muchy is balanced :3
cool idea and a really interesting art style haha
I enjoyed playing! Didn't really know what I was doing at first, but I thought it was intuitive enough to figure it out pretty quick (didn't even see the how to in the pause menu until after I had played for a while). I love the different types of food and combinations, I think you put together something really smart here.
Hahaha, mad art style, I love it. Good little gameplay loop, but sometimes the good looking particle effects on the guns would make the frame rate drop.
Yeah, I was using a feedback system from the Unity Top Down Engine asset pack that had the option to freeze the camera for a second for dramatic purposes. But it doesn't work out for this particular game.. I should have disabled it >< (I was trying as many things possible for learning purposes). Thanks for the feedback!
