Cool game with great music!
Kobots is a visual treat with charming art and really solid audio. The Lemmings-inspired gameplay translates surprisingly well to a team of kobold robots — directing them feels satisfying and clever.
The level design deserves praise. Each puzzle is thoughtfully crafted and enjoyable to solve.
Where it stumbles is in its end-of-level clarity. After looting everything on a map, the game just... keeps going. A clear victory state or level-complete screen would help tremendously. The UI also needs some love — being able to cancel a tool placement and seeing each tool's maximum range would reduce a lot of guesswork.
Despite those rough edges, Kobots is a fun, charming, and visually delightful experience.
Great Puzzle game, just the kind of game I like. It reminds me of Lemmings, just different. Nice polish and fitting music. I also really appreciate the speed buttons, that’s a great idea, as I can focus on solving the puzzles, and try different strategies.
I don’t know if I’m doing something wrong, but the level won’t clear even if I collect all treasures.
Thank you! Yeah, unfortunately there is a small bug in the level complete check at times, probably because I forgot to clear old player instances. You can press [Q] to skip levels for now.
Thanks for the advice! Gave it another try now. I also noticed I don’t have to open all treasures to complete a level, is that on purpose? Maybe there’s a “star”-rating depending on how many chests we open? Anyway, happy to know I can play more levels.
This is fun, but the difficulty curve is a bit too high for me. And like others mentioned, a tutorial level for different mechanics would definitely make things clearer. I love the visuals and audios, they all feels in place and charming.
First impression(art and animation) was amazing, but then I got stuck with the rope thingy, its not obvious how to use them. a simple tutorial level is idiot proof example would have helped.
