Reminds me of the good old MS Dos gaming era. Smooth drive control fun to play. Only the 8-bit music was annoying me after 30seconds of play.

Yeah the release jam version has a bug on the Reward screen, if you hit the next stage button on the second stage, it leads to stage 1, you can bypass it by using the stages button in the bottom right, where you can select the next stage.
Thats a bummer on my side. I thought it was done and polished. But my last changes on the editor created a level-naming bug. I have fixed it by now.
I am happy to have joined too, my ironic take on wall-e has spun up into a weird but funny story game. I didnt even expect anyone to enjoy it, as I used quite unusal puns and jokes, but the critiques are great so far, which makes me wonder if I should actually continue the story and polish the game into a full-blown Adventure RPG on the Moon.

I'd argue 2048 is only so addictive due to the numbers go up and a clear game vision.
You took an interesting take on trying to transport the merge mechanic into a completely different world, but that kinda breaks the immersion of 2048 merger gameplay. There are no numbers go up. Its not intuitive which products are mor valueable and create the next in the chain. For 2048 its 100% crystal clear due to our schooling system.
For your game its very though and even harder if you never watched the anime, I did and struggled hard too.
The sound design is very good though.
Sounds are fantastic, Music is a bit misplaced I think, the track itself is harminous, but does not really fit the environment imho. The UI is and art are the real seller on this game. UI feels very polished, especially the open button interaction and the scale in text box makes reading text a pleasure, congratz on that, I will take inspiration from you. The gameplay itself is not my type of game, but hunting hints how to proceed seems to be exciting.
The game goes to my "Worthy Games" collection, thanks
damn I didnt expect the minigame. This is a gem. You could easy turn this into a real product. Just needs more versatile minigames(they dont need to be complex), as they are the core novelty that would make exploration worthwhile.
this could also work in an office building, a warehouse, traffic etc. etc.
Just fix the annoying minigame sounds and music, and you got a real good product.
you should try Ewall gameplay then: https://itch.io/jam/gamedevjs-2026/rate/4507818
I found Tankz: Arena(mostly for graphics) and Story of a hill which I played through.
Spare Knight has a nice combat mechanic with the action time event to decide on damage and defence
Iron snail is quite good too. nice animations, vfx, sound, intro, all GG
