very cool game. amazed you made this in 3 hours

I loved this so much. Your getting so good at different genres of games!

This game is amazing! my goodness. The art is incredible. Its charming and every battle feels cool. Plus I am a blackjack junkie. I am assuming this probably works on mobile as well?

Very good. I was excited to play the updated version! Very good work. Ending was pretty unexpected but good. Game still has an incredible atmosphere!

This is nice it being such a relaxed Jam. I have been casualy working on art for this one and when the Jam starts I am going to do some hard core coding

I thought the game was really cute. Very good work. Your art like in most of your games is very charming!

Just a place when the Jam starts we can share process and chat about the Jam?

Sometimes in some action games they do like a pause before an important action. Like when to dodge. When you meet the first enemy and maybe show a little cutscene of the buttons you press and the action on the enemy that would be perfect.

It would show the player what exactly to do and then the player can try on a second enemy

First off, my goodness does your game ooze style and atmosphere, sound design and soundtrack and art are exceptional.

I played in html and I couldnt get the drawing mechanic to work? I am not sure if I was doing something wrong or should I be trying the .exe file?

I find it halarious you made a gaem featuring by 2 of my top 5 favorite animal, a Malard Duck and a Capybara, it was painful to watch that little duck launch across the screen.
Only joking

Your gamplay is addictive and extremely fun, and it is backed by a soundtrack and sound design and enforces a "keep playing me" mind set. I imagine this game would also be incredible on a phone as well, which I will write a review once I try it on there.

If there is any improvements I would make it would be to maybe have a move intense physics on collisions(I know this is easier said then done) but I when your duck makes contact with a capybara it doesnt feel like there is enough feed back from the collision. I think maybe even a screen shake could help this.

Overall though I am really looking forward to keep looking into this game. I will be review again on phone and I had a blast!

This was a really good game. Your a very good writer when it comes to witty dialoug and I enjoyed progressing through the story.

Honestly I loved that your battles moved pretty quick. I have played some game jam rpgs where it felt like the battles took way too long but honestly I feel you nailed the pacing pretty good. And I was impressed you had so many items avaible. I am really looking forward to seeing this game built more. I will be playing more.

Biggest point of improvement I would say is style. I feel you should look into other fonts and really lock down a solid colour pallet. Right now it seems your colous and style is all over the place and I think your game could be much better if you chose a font and some colours that really match the tone and style of the game your making.

no problem. Really looking forward to this :)

I was so happy i could play this game on my phone! Very well done!

How long have you been using Construct for?

Wow!! Thats incredible. Awesome work.

Just curious

Yeah I learned that I may have overscooped this project. 7 days while working my full time job  was not enough time. I am glad you enjoyed what was there!

Sorry I forgot to reply to your second question. My music was made using FlStudio Mobile

I am actually as we speak working on Post Jam version. It will be uploaded and available once the Jam is complete.

This one was really special. Nothing in the jam quite like this one! Very good work

I was soo happy to play a game with fairies. and it was pretty adorable! The feed back in the controls felt a bit weird but those can be ironed out post game. Very good work!

Your art and choice of colour was very strong. Everything stands out that should even though it appears your using a similar hue.

this one does feel it could use a bit more time, but that is much of the joys of a GameJam

I would have loved a tutorial for this game. There is alot of depth here

After I switched to using a mouse my experience was infinitely better. Very cool idea, I will come back for more if you polish it up and add content!

My goodness gracious this was super cool. I am not a fan of puzzle games but you kinda nailed this one

I am not a fan of puzzle games but even I reconize a good puzzle game when I play one. Very good work!

This game was a little bit unsetting for my tastes. I am assuing that was part of the idea and you achieved that.

Your art is fantasic and I really enjoyed the game concept. I feel unlike many of the other games in this Jam I played, you kinda build a world with this one and I really enjoyed that part of it too. Your page and background to the game says so much.

If add to the project the stuff on your page can be in the actual game :P. Joys of 7 day jams

It gets a little hard to see the more chaotic it gets. Perhaps a little more time you could have a really cool game here, but the build is quite simple

I felt the controls did always work for me. Not sure if I was doing something wrong or if it could have used a bit more work. Apart from that your game has an interesting concept and I had a good time

Your game is like a metaphor for my life. Oh cool I made progress the "TAXES".

but your game was interesting and I really enjoyed your art and witty dialouge

Yeah adding polish and rebalancing effects thats the first task i took on post jam.

Theme i feel requires the end of the game but thats a tall ask.

Thank you for your feedback. I appreciate it

I think with a bit more time you could have something really special

Wow, this was really cool. This would be a game id play on my phone or on an old tam machine. really enjoyed

Wow this game is crazy impressive. I was not expecting an experience so good. Art, gameplay my biggest takeaway is i want more.

Very awesome job

Thank you. I agree. I am building on this system and add more. 7 days really let me make a pretty basic prototype, i like to think much of the hard stuff is done.

Thank you for your words. I will focus going forward with this project on the details

As a fan of originak PvZ i really liked this. some areas need work as stated below but none the less it was super fun

it was tough to make out what was going on, but your core gameplay loop has alot of potential. If you continue to work on this one and maybe add a few shades this could be a special game

I love the colours you chose for this game. The red isnt too harsh and it gives such an eerie vibe!

I believe someone mentioned this, but you should enable fullscreen scaling, I am assuming you were worried about how your pixel art would scale in a full screen but if you have all art set to nearest, Godot does a good job scaling all the art to the nearest pixel.

Your game itself is very fun. I always enjoy the more frantic style puzzle games!
