Would updating an old project be ok for this jam?

I made this game for a different jam, in one hour. People I've showed it to seem interested in seeing a more fleshed out version, so I'm considering updating it to make it into more of an actual game. Also I think it would fit in a funny way with this jam's theming: it's definitely kind of ""send up"" of falling block games 馃樂 馃ぇ

If I develop an update for this during the jam period, would it be acceptable for me to submit it to this jam?

Thanks!

I think this is a pretty relaxed jam since there's no ranking or prizes, so if you feel jamming on this would be the funnest way to participate, I'm for it!

awesome!

My game is a bigger platform game that also has lots of minigames in it including Tetris clones, I think I'll take after this thread and make an update where I add another one :)

Interesting idea. I鈥檇 like to see a more detailed version of it in this jam. Add a bit of meta-progression and it could become a nice game for relaxation or for a challenge.

This is nice it being such a relaxed Jam. I have been casualy working on art for this one and when the Jam starts I am going to do some hard core coding

For what it's worth, I'm thinking of using this jam to introduce a falling block themed game that's taken from an old project I've pivoted. For me it's just an opportunity to play some games, give feedback and get feedback.
